I just received a missed call from this number and when I tried to call it back I received a message saying that the number could not be connected.

Got one of these calls at 2pm on 22/12/2012. A woman with an Irish accent claiming to be from Telstra asked if I was happy with my phone service. (I am a Telstra homeline phone customer).

This woman was asking questions and trying to sell other Telstra services. She attempted to sign me up for computer services etc. without me even giving any indication that I would even agree to anything, let alone something being sold over the phone. Either that or she was a fraudster attempting to gather personal information. She said "the paperwork to sign won't come for another month" so "I will fix it up for you now". Whoa, whoa, I said, fix what up?, I haven't agreed to anything". I then terminated the call stating I was busy. She also said during the conversation for me "not to sign up for these services through the Telstra shops" but to do it through "the likes of her" because these deals are only for a selected 200 Telstra customers that "they" are calling. She did not give her or any anyone elses name.

I was almost certain that this call was not from Telstra in the end and even though I was busy when the phone rang I should have asked for verification. I am so sick of these telemarketers/scam artists.

So beware. I also suspect that they only guess that the people they are calling are Telstra (or whoever) customers as this strategy would make the caller seem more genuine.

I lodged a complaint with Telstra who denied the call had anything to do with them. I am also on the Do Not Call register and the representative from Telstra stated that Telstra do not ever call people on this register. I also called the above number a few times and it disconnects just before it rings.

So ask people for their full name, a contactable, verifiable phone number, their employee identification number and receipt number for the call. They must comply with these requests by law.

No, I am not happy with any of this. All I saw were names etched in granite around a square waterfall. Two square waterfalls, but really the glory holes was the main attractions. I hate memorials. Are you going to meet me there? And then let's get out. Will you call me back? Please call me back, your service sucks.

Getting a lot of calls from this number, hangs up before I can answer. Friend of mine states they claim to be from Telstra and try to talk you into a plan. Apparently these people RENT lines from Telstra then ring you to try and get you to change your Telstra plan into one of their plans. If u press them to admit they are really not Telstra they hum and ah. I will not answer calls from interestate for that reason.

I have been receiving calls from this number daily.  The caller ID shows Telco. I don't answer them, and they go to my messages saying that they left no message.

this bloody mob keep ringing my mobile on two different phones ,  please help get this mob of the line

This number constantly rings my mobile at least 4 times a day! So bloody frustrating. I never answer it though.

Just received a call from this number. It is telstra. Igrilled the woman to the max and she confirmed to my satisfaction that it was genuine. The reason they sometimes hang up without talking is the way the calls are routed. An automated system that connects you first then the telemarketer. The actually do a good job of making sure you are on the best possible plan

You have to fight fire with fire.  Or in this case telemarketing with telmarketing.  What I mean is enter the TSA phone number 0862284010 into every pop-up wanting contact details.  Subscribe them for insurance.  Enter them in competitions.  Anything that will cause scammers and other telemarketers to call this number.  Image the confusion and misery for telemarketers if what they do all day is ring other telemarketers.  Let the mayhem begin.....  Copy and paste the number:   0862284010

This number has been infrequently calling me about once a month at varying times (day or night). Recently the frequency of the calls has increased(weekly-daily). When I first got the calls I mistakenly answered and the call was disconnected. I no longer answer them but they keep ringing. Very annoying!!!
