I have been getting call from this number and I don't recognise it at all, so please kindly assist me on this matter as I am not going to tolerate this any further.

Got calls frm this nbr 2 nd I am going to block it.

Received a call from this number - woman on the otherside said she was from Vodacom and wanted to update details....  I didnt give her any details as I feel that when I go in to Vodacom to do upgrades, we can update details then!

From the 29th of june 2012 I've been receiving calls from 0873104296 but nobody says anything and when I return the call the line disconnect.

This number called me yesterday and when I called back the number was off!

I receive the same, lots of missed calls, and cannot return. very irritating.

I have received 3 missed calls from this number so far today, each time they leave a voice message but do not speak. I tried to call back but it always says call failed!!! Very irritating, im going to block the number if it carries on. I Jst got another call and was able to answer it, the woman said she was phoning regarding funeral cover?!!! hopefully she stops now.

Same thing here, this number as well as these 031 940 5050 and 031 830 7500. They call and when I answer the line goes dead. When trying to call back it says call failed.

You didn't mention where you are, but all 3 area codes you mention don't exist. In North America there are no area codes from 000 to 200. Also no 300, 400, 500 & 600. Spoofer like to use these because it is impossible to phone back. I have them all blocked.

Seems it's still going on. Had a call, answered it and they just put down in your ear. I also phoned back just to tell me it's disconnected. PE, South Africa.

They just called me too! Tried returning but would not connect.

Got a missed call from this number.  Left a voicemail but didn't say anything. Also tried 2 phone back but it just stop. This is soooooo freaky I must say...............yikes

I got a call from that number as well this afternoon. I missed the call so that I can see if they leave a voice message but no voice message was left at the time...... Waiting now for them to call back...... Rather when someone phones only pick up the phone for people you know which is what I have been doing for quite sometime now....... You never know if they just trying to scam you........ Do not give out any details to these people unless you are sure that they are who they say they are...... Cant trust people anymore can we???

very disturbing. I put it on block along with 25 other fraudulent numbers.
I am sure that if we investigate this matter we can find the culprits but that would mean one of us would have to creat a list of every contract and account they have ever submitted their phone number for, and that is a near impossible task in today's modern society where every bloody form you fill out you need to put a contact number... crazy.
Just put the numbers on block. Get a call blocker like NQ call blocker on android that allows only numbers in you contact list to contact you. all other numbers are automatically answered and immediately hung up again, so there is no voicemail implications. very cool.

This number (087 310 4296), along with 031 001 2949 and 031 830 7999 and numbers similar to these, These are just random people that get a hold of your contact details from companies that sell your info illegally and spam the crap out of you, just ignore the calls/ block it if you like, my voicemail says that if I don't have your number on my phone I won't answer, please leave a message and I will get back to you if I I'm not interested or there's no message then tough crap:) Oh and the 031 code is Durban South Africa, it's not for the U.S and so on.  Good Luck:)
