Thieving Medicare Pain brace bunch. I only answered to aggravate them - since that's all they do to me. I had a few minutes to kill so I played along... At first, the Filipino lady claimed to be calling from Medicare to confirm whether or not I had received my new Red, White, & Blue Medicare card... she told me to go get it and she would wait - then she started asking me for the name, account # on the card so she could run the verification - I gave her the sample number off the Medicare website - she then claimed that she had verified it and proceeded to ask me if I was experiencing pain anywhere in my body. I told her no - she started insisting that at some time in the past I must have felt pain in my joints - I kept insisting NO... After a while of this, she then asks me my height and weight & shirt size then went on to confirm my address. When I kept pressing her as to why she would need this info to confirm my Medicare card she responded with "no matter" and finally, rudely hung up on me.
About an hour later she called back wanting me to check my card info and reconfirm it to her again - I ask why and she said that there was a problem with my card. I told her I was too busy to fool with it - she got very aggressive with me insisting that I had to. After a few more minutes of this, she raised her voice and told me that today was the last day she could confirm my card and that if I didn't give her the info my Medicare card would be terminated. I told her I didn't care, that I didn't use it that much anyway and she shouted fine and hung up.
A few minutes later a Filipino speaking man called - he went through the same Q as the girl so again I just played along - I put him through the same Q & A and like her he lied the whole way as to what the call was about - finally I told him I knew they were scammers and I wasn't falling for it - he starting laughing loudly and said sure - then he hung up.

The numbers they have used this week were 893-928-3231, 671-329-6591, 923-616-2064, 376-441-8755, 348-136-7313, 089-354-0422, 925-190-5415, 633-597-0880

I would normally say it was fruitless to block their number(s) since they spoof them. But I can now confirm that I noticed several they were using showing on my Caller ID from yesterday and it blocked'm. So for now, anyway, they are using the same numbers again.
