Received a call from the above number tonight (17 Sep 08).  A recording stated:  "Hello, my name is Lisa.  I have important news for you about your credit card.   You can lower the interest rate to 6.5 %.  All you have to do is dial 9 for more information."

I did not dial 9. There was no indication where the call came from other than the number on caller ID and no reference to which credit card.

sept 18, noon, received a call from 1-121-121-1212 with no identification execpt the phone number.
Did not answer and went to my machine, It says i had to press 9 about my account.

problem with my account !?! Ya right...

I have important news for you about your credit card.  All you have to do is dial 9 for more information.  I did not dial 9

This one goes to my answering machine in an automated message saying..."I'm not calling about any problems with your account, but the reason for the call is that you are now eligible for low interest rates... press 9 now!"

Pressing 9 is such a dangerous idea, since you never know where its going to route you to.

Also received a call from 123-123-1232.  I let it go on the machine but no message left.  I registered for the do not call list.  I will be happy when it starts.

Why can there not be a total stop put on this phone abuse?
We should be able to charge these clowns with harassment and
charge any unwanted calls back to them. I am sick and tired of
people abusing the telephone service that I am paying for.
Enough is enough. Robbed by Bell and harrassed by these idiots.

This number 121-121-1212. Why don't these annoying people get a real job and quit hararessing victims. There got to be some law to get rid of pesty fingers that dial people homes and don't leave any type of message.
Makes me  mad quite frankly!!!!

I just found this page and I want to ask you about that Telemarketer number,the link for the website for mcsprograms.com,correct me if Iam wrong,but,is that the company that calls from 121-121-1212?

I received five calls today from 800-121-1212 but only one of them had a live person the line.  He had a terrible accent, and told me I had qualified for a grant from the treasury department.  I told him I was not interested and hung up
