Paypal scam

Received a text saying that my Wells Fargo online checking had been suspended and gave a link to use to restore it.  From my cell phone browser, the link looked ok, and I entered my login id and password plus ATM pin before getting to a point where it asked for a SMS code, so I quit and grabbed my laptop.  The security software I have on my laptop told me that the link is dangerous and would not let me continue!

They’re spam!!!! If you ever see such a message, go to the official place and check just in case! Do NOT use the link!

How do you remedy this situation? I’m getting at least 1 text a day, & each is slightly changed the last 1 or 2 digits. I never click on the link. I always text STOP.
I want this solved! Tired of receiving...Also my Credit Card was hacked into recently 😢

Well, you should stop responding to those texts as it only tells them that they have a good number with someone who will read and respond to them.  You should then acquaint yourself with 7726 and start forwarding those texts so that all carriers will block them  I also fail to see what your credit card has to do with this unless you gave them the cc#

Receive text daily on my phone.I can not respond because my phone can’t download. This is harassment!I want it to stop. I have no peace.

The WF text is asking me to verify my account. To block the text: tap info then tap > then you can block the call. BigA, ty for the 7726 info.

Same as most others. Got a text this am, supposedly from Wells saying "locked services". Called Wells, confirmed acct is not locked. Second time have received a text like this. I have no problem blocking bogus phone calls, is there a way to block the number the bogus texts are coming from? Thanks for any info you can give me.

Text msg from JP Morgan to call revarding a Visa card.   SCAM

Got a text right after paying my phone bill, said my payment was on hold. Said it was AT&T. The phone number they gave to call is 602 675 7494. But somehow they KNEW I just made a payment.

It wrote:Warning MSG: Valuable customer we have noticed unusual activity on account. Contact us  802-222-8790

Said my Att payment was unsuccessful.  Wanted me to call  number 8643432336. I called my Att provider directly and they said it was a scam
