message to remove offensive content frm fb....

I dont have a fb, or whatever thats supposed to be.

Trolling for login info.  Does no good to block #, they just text frm different one (but they usually start as "14100...")

I received a text from this number directing me to a website, but i did not open the website. I figured it was a scammer

this was extra weird because I was in fact waiting on a package that was delivered that day.

Sender is 4901, so no company name, and most importantly, the items we ordered were all delivered last week, no outstanding items. Message deleted!

purportedly from Navy Federal Credit Union saying my account is locked and leaving place to message.  I have no account with Navy Federal Credit union.  Also called  from 141-020-0505.

Two back to back texts saying Huntington acct. is locked. What ever don't even bank with Huntington. So sorry not today idjits.

Receiving texts from this number along with 1410100011, 12, 13, 14, 15 & now 16. Only number that changes is the one at the end for each scam text. Mine have all been about a ups parcel that cannot be delivered. I opened up the link which looked like a legitimate ups third party account and had a tracking number.  So I then went to actual ups website & entered the tracking number that was found on the "3rd party site" and ups.com has no record of the tracking number or says I entered it incorrectly. Which I copied n pasted from scam message. So Def scams. All numbers texting from 1410100010-1410100016 & probably more after that. Will just keep going on & on until who knows. Don't believe the lie!

A legitimate business such as FedEx would not call or text from what is clearly a spoofed phone number. NO phone number area code or prefix in North America begins with a 1 or a 0.

Just be safe and don't answer ANY of these scam messages.

 Unwanted Text Messages

Forward unwanted text messages to 7726 so that carriers will block them. Some carriers do not accept that code and if that is the case then contact your carrier about how to block unwanted text messages, however 7726 is accepted in the US, Canada, and Great Britain. Also, never, ever click on a link in a text message as it will probably install something nasty to your phone that you really will not want to deal with and never, ever respond to one because lets them know that they have a good number with someone on the other end.  It will result in more calls and texts.
