This scam will text you that there is unusual activity on your bank account and that your account has been locked, and prompt you to click on a phishy link to steal your information.
Block and delete immediately

Received text allegedly form Wells Fargo that debit card locked. instructed to call 205-683-2494. Looked number up, not bank number. checked card, NOT locked. Don't fall for this scam.

received text about a costco giftcard with a sketchy link (costco spelled with zeroes) to aserber.shop

Unwanted Text Messages

Forward unwanted text messages to 7726 so that carriers will block them. Some carriers do not accept that code and if that is the case then contact your carrier about how to block unwanted text messages. Also, never, ever click on a link in a text message as it will probably install something nasty to your phone that you really will not want to deal with and never, ever respond to one because lets them know that they have a good number with someone on the other end.  It will result in more calls and texts.
