Received a call from this number at 10:12 am 8/1/13 - they left no message.  I have no idea who they are.

rcvd a call from this number at 11:45 AM. Robo voice stated his name was John.  I have gotten this call before, it's a scam for some security system, like Life Alert.

FUNY HOW THE SECURITY SYSTEM PEOPLE CALL LKE THIS,, EVERYTIME SOMEONE IN THE OUSEHOLD INS ON VACATION,, IT IS ALMOST LIKE THEY ARE SETTING IT UP TO ROB THE HOUSE,....

Calling this number back says the number is not in service, that spells SCAM
This caller ID Sema Group Recovery is also NOT listed w/ the BBB

on my landline phone this week have received daily calls from 201.499.0217. caller id says "semagrouprecvy". no one speaks when I answer. supposed to be on do not call list. so annoying !!!

I keep getting calls from this number almost daily. It says press 5 to be taken off the list and I've pressed 5 so many times but they still keep calling. So annoying!!

Never ever press those numbers for these scammers.. all your doing is confirming they have a live number!   What I did was get a live person, blow a whistle at first on them. Now I just turn the phone on and right back off so they don't get a full connection. The calls have toned down to almost non existent.    Rule of thumb, don't answer the phone for numbers you don't recognize!

Caller named John said they needed more info to ship the Medical Alert that I had ordered.  We never ordered such a thing.  Just a scam to try to get your info and scam you.

This is second time I got call from this number. I let go to answering machine and there was no message.

Call came at 8:30 pm. When I picked the phone there was silence at the other end.

This is a bs call. Life alert...why should i opt out, then they come on the phone live. THey call my house everyday, this is harrassment.

I have been getting calls all week when I was not home.  Just got one now and tried to call it back and it says "the number has been disconnected.

They called my elderly mom and tried to get her banking information......my husband heard her just time to intercept the call

All I get is  a call from John or Ann this is every Day I"m really mad about these calls I"m on the don"t call list  I would like to press charges for  HARRASSMENT,  the # is 201 499-0217 the name on my caller ID will come up  Semagrouprecvy.. If you call the number back it will not go through... this kind of thing makes it look bad for the real life line company... Feel Bad  for that company......

As others, no message.  Calling often.  Tracing the number, I got to this thread.  Did further search on company name, which doesn't sound like someone selling Life Alert.  Finally found this information (which goes with "recovery services" in name.  Beware!

I just received a call from this number and the person said his name was John and was calling to make a delivery of a life alert system that was already paid for. It was not a live person since I could not get him to shut up to say we do not need one. Also, one of my cousins just got this same call last week and she is 35. Like one of the other messages, I feel they are calling to see  who is home to possibly rob the house.

Got a phone call from 201-499-0217, came up on caller id as SemaGroupRecvy. Caller said his name was John.  Wanted to send me a medical alert system, I never ordered. I told him I was on the Do Not Call list and to stop harassing me. Must be a SCAM !!
