Jim how do you know is Metropolitan Life Insurance?

Our office recieved a fax from this number soliciting life insurance business... the posted rates were very competative.

Received the junk fax today. It has a removal number at the bottom. I hope it works. Reporting to do-not-call.   https://complaints.donotcall.gov/Mobile/Complaint/ComplaintCheck.aspx

They keep faxing for Health Insurance and Getting Money out of Nothing to my work fax.
I have sent several fax removal requests and I just keep getting more and more every day.
This is getting ridiculous!

How do you stop this? Of course "unsubscribing" only lets them know that they are hitting an active number. I don't think it does anything useful to get them to stop at all.

They seem to have something going with ink manufactuers. This really pisses me off using my fax printer on a regular basis for these jerks. If it is met life I am going to file a complaint.

I have been receiving faxes from these people for 8 weeks straight. Usually 5 am in the morning.
I have responded to their removal number 6 times. I just got another fax saturday morning at 5am.
I cannot seem to get rid of them.

I got a text at 1 am from this number about life insurance.

I wish i could meet them so i could beat them to the edge with thier late night faxing. I will find them and show no mercy sooner then those rotten [***] think.

PS: I hope they buy what they are selling because they are going to need it!

Thanks to everyone that posted; the information was very helpful and I too filed two complaints. These people must have the world's biggest balls to force the public to pay for a long distance call to stop a non-requested fax. I am going to call MET Life too just to see where it takes me.

Please help.. There calling our house phone that has no fax.. waking up everyone around 1:00 am 4:00 4:45 5:00.. I have 4 children which everyone in my home wake up... I keep thinking its news about my parents who live away from me. this has me scared nervous and very upset.. We had to attach our house phone to a fax to figure out who it is.. and all we have is this fax number 201-549-0250 finally affordable health insurance.. Please help it's upsetting

It's outrageous to require someone to fax a Seattle fax number to "unsubscribe" to something they never subscribed to!  From what I can determine, the "subscribe" number is in New Jersey, and belongs to Met Life in Newark. Think twice before doing business with them, if they have to resort to this kind of crap to get customers!

I've been getting these for over a year. Have 'unsubscribed' several times; have faxed them back stacks of their own crap; but it doesn't stop!

One alternative is to inundate them with sales leads of the names of Senators, Congressmen, and FCC employees. If everyone will just respond to their solicitation with the name of your Senator and Congressman, that would start an investigation. I'm starting right now!

I have spent hours on this people, they keep sending this faxes to me.

STILL getting faxes from this company despite complaint to DNC offices several times (this is like the 3rd time!)

These junk fax's have got to stop. What a waste of paper, ink and everyone time.
