Just because they find loopholes to pay people for doing this does not mean it isn't a SCAM, likewise, just because people that work for them very well could be convinced that what they are doing is legit, does not mean that it is. I asked for specific information and the 'supervisor' kept talking about what he was offering and completely ignored questions he didnt have an answer to. However, when I asked a question that he had a prerehearsed response to, he was happy to give me his analogy of magazines to ordering pizza. I wanted to either get mailed a catalog for verification of legitimacy and to see what other magazines I could get besides the dumb three that i was offered for being a guy, and he flat out said no, we dont rights to do that. I asked him why if he can send out a catalog WITH someone's subsciption why couldn't he send out a catalog WITHOUT a subscription and he said 'you dont order pizza and tell them you aren't going to pay until you get it' hahahahahaha, i said that's interesting because two days ago I had pizza hut deliver and didn't pay them until the delivery person showed up at my door with the pizza!!!


So I grilled the guy and spent almost 25 minutes on the phone with him to hassle him and props for not hanging up, but at the same time ignoring things I say and repeating the same bs youve already said three times isn't helping your case. I told him if he couldn't send me a catalog before giving him my money then we need to end the conversation. He said 'their system isn't set up to do that' and I said ok, I appreciate your time but no thanks. HE LAUGHED AND HUNG UP!!! What kind of salesperson laughs at customers and hangs up without saying anything. Salespeople know that you are going to be told no more than yes, and to be respectful and appreciative regardless of a sale or not. He was well rehearsed with bs answers that hopefully wouldn't fool a twelve year old

It's too bad that cellular numbers became public legislation recently - gave a dying out breed of scammers a new breath of life and made the general public that much more irritable throughout their daily ventures. I really really hope someone gets a chuckle from me writing this and that every single person who answers one of these jokers calling asks a hundred questions and never ever stops until the caller hangs up when they realize the fruitlessness of their efforts, or someone you know is trying to call.

WHAT BOTHERS ME THE MOST ABOUT ALL THIS IS THAT THEY ARE SUCCESSFUL ENOUGH AND GOOD ENOUGH AT DOING THIS AND FINDING LOOPHOLES AND EVADING THE LAW BECAUSE THEY KNOW HOW DIFFICULT IT IS FOR SMALLER INDIVIDUALS TO GET ANYWHERE AGAINST A WELL FINANCIALLY BACKED ENTITY. BUT THEY WOULDNT HAVE BECOME SO GOOD AT IT OR BECAME SUCH AN ENTITY OF PEOPLE STOPPED BEING IDIOTS!!!!

uhm, not a single person who had not received magazines as described/paid for... telemarketing is frusterating at times absolutley a simple (plz place me on the do not call list) should suffice you wont be called. But really you get alot for a little, so stop being the ignorant [***] americans the world loves to hate. peace.

i worked there and 99% of there stuff your being told is being read word for word off a script, and i don't think im going back, its a really [***] job, its literally reading a script for 8 hours, i do apologize to every one who's gotten [***] from them,4 some people who work are rude, but some are just doing their job to trying to make a little , 4 sales=  $10

I have been working for them for a number of years. I know how annoying these calls can be.... and we are only trying to make a living we are not trying to sell anything and there is no obligation of purchasing from is at all.

I wish you guys would just go through with the first part so we can get a lead this does help us out a lot and even if you don't want to give any of your information out just going through to the transfer part and talk to the supervisor it helps us out a lot

Worked there for a bit first as tsr then closer not an evil corporation their sole purpose of existence is to get magazines circulated so the publishing companies can charge advertising companies more money, being that the amount you can charge for advertisements is based on the circulation of the magazine, if u like magazines its a fantastic deal give them a hard time after they transfer u too a supervisor and they'll toss in a 5th magazine no charge;) also you're protected by the consumers protection act instituted 3 years ago which means even if u are frauded ur credit card service provider will take the charges, don't be mean to the people ur talking too, everyones gotta make a living

I've called this number and the lady on the other end of the line was not very happy that I wanted out of the deal I was rushed into, but she was polite, kept on offering lower and lower priced till she finally just canceled my account. Its in my nature to be polite to these people and that politeness got me into the mess in the first place.

Legally you are sound? What does that even mean?  In fact what the company does is ILLEGAL. Calling people and repeatedly hanging up on them is   Harassment.

New Jersey's Harassment law is set forth at N.J.S.A. 2C:33-4. In this regard, a person is guilty of a petty disorderly persons offense of harassment if he:
a. Makes, or causes to be made, a communication or communications anonymously or at extremely inconvenient hours, or in offensively coarse language, or any other manner likely to cause annoyance or alarm;

These people just called me and the said a good list of the things I just read and yeah i kept telling them i didnt have a credit cad and i knew they were getting upset. as soon as they connected me i was instantly transferred and the lady said that the guy i was talking to was new blah blah scam for a magazine.. oh yeah they used skype to change there area code because it was the same as mine and all there voices were southern and I could hear the sound of skype when i was transferred and when they hung up LOL

they told me im still entered and that there sending the watch after i told them I didnt want it!!! they have my name and address but not my credit card info so they cant charge me money right?

Haha and we don't use Skype hahaha that's the funniest thing i have ever seen on here lolol we use windows 2000 computers and the noise you hear while transfer is you transferring over to the closers 15 feet away. Also the numbers get randomized every call. Hahah [***] dumb people
