Received 6 calls between 9:45 a.m & 5:19 pm.  Have no clue who is calling

said from State Department and wanted money had Indian accent. SCAM

same thing has been happening to me....I cannot answer my phone

call from law firm or so they say threaten law suit and date to appear in court in Washington DC...very nasty and make threats...no one threatens with a court date you get a summons  to appear in court.  this is a scam and they want your id and your money...they are trying to scare people to give money.  I reported them to the FTC  you didn't get me!!!!!

I reported this online at www.donotcall and got a letter from the FCC thanking me for reporting it, but basically saying there was nothing they could do. When I initially started getting the calls about a year ago they said they were a government agency and that I qualified for a grant. I said 'great...send it to me.' They said we need to deposit it directly into my bank account and asked for the account information. Scam, scam, scam!! I just reported it again yesterday to AT&T. That same Indian voice whom I now call 'Demon Man' actually said he'll be calling me everyday when I told him not to call here again. It amazes me that with all the technology, no one seems to be able to stop the culprit.

called at 2:53 p. didnt answer. didn't leave a message. checked this website. glad i didnt answer. figured it was spam.

Oh, they left a message.

"Congratulations, my personal loan has been approved, please call them back at the above number to start the process."

To bad I didn't apply for a loan in the first place.

202-241-2007 has to be a scam since there are other reports of it. The Indian accent man left a message about needing to process a loan. His voice wasn't even confident and he stumbled over himself. My number has gotten into some pool of corrupt koolaid. Fantastic.

They keep calling saying i can get a loin from them

Yep same thing happened to me this guy started yelling at me after I told him to go back to india and learn english told him to stop calling and I am reporting them. He called me back 5 times and I just hung up, I blocked his number on my cell phone, they have serveral numbers they call from so each time he called with a different number i blocked that too.

Same story, got call and answered, bad connection and call was lost but heard Indian accent, actually thought at first was my friend from India.  Got second call I ignored, found this site.  Now I know and have alerted my family to ignore them.

This phone number is part of a scam.  

call from Payday Loans claiming that I had requested a loan and it was approved. I never applied for such a loan.

This Kevin Smith (Indian accent) tried to scam me also:
I received a call (4/11/15) from someone claiming to be Kevin Smith, a Senior Investigation Officer from the IRS in Washington D.C.  He claimed that there was a warrant in my name for tax evasion, and that I needed to pay $1,950 or I would be arrested.  I tried to get information from him regarding what type of error he believed I made - I'm a teacher, I've always declared my salary, and I've always paid my taxes.  This man wanted me to stay on the phone with him, go to the bank, get this money, and then go get a Green Dot Prepaid Visa Card at Walmart.  He wanted to tell me what to do in steps, and he didn't want to give me information ahead of time; he wanted to give it to me at the point I needed it.  This sounded very shady to me, so I hung up the phone.
