I just got a call from this number as well. There was a message left that said it was the IR S final notice that they were going to file a lawsuit against me. I called it back and the phone was never answered. It just rang and rang

I guess i am being sued too. Final notice, kinda funny because final notice was also my first. I am NOT shaking in my boots. Pay taxes on time every year!!!

The calling number was "unknown" but this number was listed as the call back number.  Said the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.  This message came on my cell phone but I received a similar call yesterday on my home phone but with a different call back number.

I also got a phone call from Ilonois and said the IRS was going to sue me too.  It was my final notice
also .  Telephone number was 202-241-2762 that they told me to call,  Call was made from 630-213-2643.
They said they had been trying to get in touch with me.  I did not call the number back.  Figured it was a scam!

have caller ID- got identical message but the phone number that came up on my caller id was 630-859-9404 (which was disconnected btw when I called back). total scam

Total scam. I HAVE been contacted by the IRS before and they don't CALL you,,,it is all by US Mail.

Yes, I also received a call from this number stating  it was "officially a final notice from the irs" who is "filing lawsuits against" me.  Looked it up and found this post.  It's a scam.  I didn't bother to call back.
