This is another IRS scam. Message was, "The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you". Told me to call a number. Robo voice that didn't even say the sentence correctly. Funny how I just got my tax refund 2 days ago! These folks need to be stopped but nobody seems to be able to do that. Please do not fall for this obvious scam.

This is the IRS scam the (real) IRS is warning us all about. They do not call and threaten. They notify you by mail to which you have time to respond. Steer clear accepting these calls and block them if you can.

202-241-9690 was the number that just called and told me that I was being charged with tax fraud and said I needed to pay 4,600.00 to avoid being arrested and put in jail for 5 years. He was very difficult to understand and would not let me speak to a supervisor. He knew my name, previous addresses and insisted that I had 4 charges against me for which I would have to report to Washington DC to clear my name in court. The money would be returned in a tax return if charges prove false and someone stole my identity. Please stop this fraudulent activity!

Robo call threatening a lawsuit against me, that if I didn't respond immediately to this phone number it would be "...downloaded into the court...".  Same threatening robo voice called two consecutive days, with two different numbers to call: 202-241-9690 & 425-216-5777.

They called my parents and said there was a tax fraud investigation and they had been trying to get a hold of them for six months and to call for more information before it was filed in court. You could tell. It was not a re voice it was a comluterized voice.

Reported that I was going to be sued by the Federal government.  SCAM!  I am reporting to the Attorney General of Indiana.

Mother Got a call that they are filing charges.  She called back.  They knew names of people she is associated with.

Tried to call back and got some message for a guy I could barely understand that he was not accepting calls at this time. No one has ever contacted me regarding this alleged fraud so I am calling [***] and not taking their calls.

threatened lawsuit filed against me by IRS because I had not returned their call in 6 months

Fraud call with broken English. 202 241 9690.  Caller ID lists it as "Mike Watts."  Tried to call  back to ask them to stop calling but the number doesn't even work.

Funny, they must want me real bad.  Got three call from them today, saying I wanted by the IRS hehehe

Got a robo call to my job number from this number that I am being suited by the IRS for fraud.  When I called the number back I got what sounded like an Indian man's voicemails asking that I leave a message.

I just received a phone call from 202-241-9690, didn't even bother to pick it up just hung up on them and then added that phone number to my block list. Decided I would call the number back just out of curiosity and received a recording that said that number was not in service.

I got a call from this number, the caller ID said Washington, DC. A foreign man said that my social security number was flagged for fraudulent activity. Said that my SS # was associated with drug and money laundering to mexico. Also said that a car I rented in the past had blood, drug residue, and a gun found inside. Also said 18 accounts were opened with my SS #. I finally hung up and was called 3 more times after. I ended up blocking the number.
