3 calls in 3 hours. No no one ever answers when I say hello. I think an air horn blast is in the future if they continue calling.

But why do they call?  I never answer.  I get calls from unknown numbers about once a week and block them.  I now have more blocked numbers on my phone than contacts! Do they hook you when you call the other number and ask for Alex? I don't get it.  Sam

These are criminals operating out of overseas boiler rooms in corrupt and apathetic countries and out of the reach of US jurisdiction.

202-456-0000 SCAM ALERT!!  Man called my home and told me the government was giving me a $7000 grant (I didn't sign up for). He said it could be paid in person or by western union. He then gave me a code and another number. 206-201-2083, they told me in order to receive the money I needed to send them $257. I didn't (duh) I did call so I could have all my facts right. I know it's a waste of time, but so far they haven't called back.

I received call from 202-456-0000. No one on line. I called back- recorded message that number is not in service.

The phone number is showing District of Columbia and when I called back it's telling me that it's not the right number or can't be completed as dialed. Just tell the person that you'll report them to the police if they don't leave you alone. You can always research who the police are where they live.

I answered and said "Who is this?".  The caller said he was Calvin and was calling from the US Governmentt.  I said "Why are you calling?"  He said "Who the F*** (obscenity) are you".   I said Goodbye and hung up

I have received many calls from this number this past week I have lost count. When I finally answered today & a female asked for me by name. She told me that they are calling from the United States Government and that I was selected to receive a FREE grant of $9000!!  I laughed.  She said I could use the money for education.  I told her I already knew all I needed to know. lol... I asked her name, she told me a name...  I ask her if she was calling from the Government like she said then why did 'Unknown Caller' show up on my caller id & why is she not speaking English?  I said your calling from India or some other foreign country??? She hung up... lol  But they keep on calling.  We should be able to sue these phone companies for allowing the harassment or they should have to furnish free a code to block these numbers from calling hard working people...

Got the same "free grant money" spill from someone that had a hard to understand accent.  Western Union was my choice in receiving my money, but the catch was I had to buy a green money card and put $250 on it in order to receive the money.  Alert! You don't have to pay to get FREE MONEY from the Govt.  These calls are SCAMS!!!!!

I received two phone calls from this number today. They are claiming to be from the Fedetal Goverment but are scammers attempting to get your personal information.

this # calls me almost evey day last couple mpnths i answer when i forget to see whose calling and no one ever says anything then a few seconds later i can here them hang up, i also get calls from same # but different area code

get one of them loud emergency  boat horns and when they answer, blast them f---ers!

Got two calls from this # in a row. I sent them to voicemail but no message left either time. The number is now blocked.

I am being harassed daily by this number. A lot of people are. Why is this number or the people using it not shut down? Enough is enough.

Ha ha ha....I had one of these calls once, a little different than yours.  They actually wanted money.  They told me they will have a sherriff at my house today by 5:00 if I didn't western union $950.00 to their attorney's office.  I said well "Lawdy Lawdy, Miss Clawdy!"  The Sheriff....good Lord I'm shaking in my shoes.  Please send the sheriff to my house, I'll invite him in for pizza and beer and you still won't get a dime from me.  Even if I owed anyone that amount of money, I wouldn't pay it, see because in America we have something called legal rights.  
Then he started yelling at me with his blah blah blah garbage talk and I let him ramble, then I said are you done?  He said yes, I said first of all I've never known and Indian or Middle Eastern man with an accent as profound as yours with a name of Steve Smith.  That alone let's me know your a fraud, don't call me ever again, I'll call you, I hung up.  Went to my phone edit and blocked the calls.  Haven't heard from him since and I was looking forward to meeting that sheriff for pizza and beer, he never showed up.  Ironic isn't it?  That was about 2 years ago.
