Got this call from 202-607-2572 on a Sunday evening at 8PM. After I answered, there was a silence on the phone. What do these numb skull want? Are they deaf or mute? Such idiots has too much time on their hands.

Got a call from this number today to my work phone number.  They asked for my husband.  Upon asking who was calling, I was told that they were some justice center, and wanted him to listen to a voice recording for them.  When I explained that this was MY work number, and I wasn't sure how they had obtained it, the woman on the other line apologized and said they make it a practice not to call business phone numbers.  This is the number for my home office, so I am fully expecting to receive more calls.

asked for hubby,but could not properly pronounce our last name(moron)a very plain good old American last name... said he was with a group of supreme court attorney's and needed to speak with him.would not say what this was in regards to, said he would call back..lol hope he understands very simple American profanity if hubby picks up.

I did some research, and found this prick is calling from a mobile phone, they call 3-4 times a day, no messages, and never say anything when answered... here's the details below.

Maybe they wanted you to sign a petition or donate some money.

Called in the afternoon.  I did not pick up because I know that a 202 area code is more than likely a telemarketer or a scam artist.  My caller ID said it was an UNKNOWN CALLER.  I will not answer the phone for that or UNAVAILABLE calls.  

I would like to know WHY we ever signed up for the "no call list!"  I'm getting more wacko calls now than I ever did before I was on the "no call list!"  How can we get these people to stop calling?

Have been called by this # two times in the past week. Did not answer the call because the caller ID # 1-202-607-2572 was unknown by me.

Got called twice in the row.  Don't need to look at caller id; number flashes on TV screen.  If any number is not a local first 3 digit number, I do not answer the phone. They can call all they want.

Never leaves a message, usually the answering machine doesn't pause before the caller disconnects the call. Must be a computer with sequential dialing. Who REALLY believes the Do Not Call List really works? Scam artists don't care, they are not legit! They have nothing to lose.

Soliciting for some petition, wanted me to listen to a recorded message from someone. Hung up.

I highly suggest anyone being harassed by these people call the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and file a complaint with them... nothing is going to change and they are not going to stop unless the are made to stop this bullying and that will require the FTC investigating. They must hear from us in order to fully grasp the magnitude of this behavior... bottom line if no one takes the less than 10 minutes to call and file a complaint it will never stop, there is strength in numbers. The ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice) is counting on us not coming together as a group to stand up and say enough is enough! I got a call from 202-607-2572 today.  Nobody there!  What a jerk.

These people are the American Center for Law & Justice and are indeed based in Washington DC.

Just got a call from these goofs. Silence when I picked up. Hate this crap!!!

They call and will not say anything.  Caller ID shows ACLJ.. Tired of getting these calls.

Those time they told me they were from some Christian group wanting me to listen to a pre-recorded message. Before they got that far, I informed them that we do not give to anyone over the phone nor do we buy anything over the phone and I wanted removed from their calling list at once.

I called the FTC # and they said it was changed to 1015158000  called it and got the runaround

I also have been receiving daily calls from these idiots who don't leave a message.  Just found out who they are from a different website:  SPRINT SPECTRUM LP out of Washington, D.C.

Call and don't say anything when I answer.  Finally, they hang up.

Someone said it was something about the Scientology, church of.
Can't figure that one out.
