this no. calls every day. when the answering machine picks up they hang up.

got a call from this no.  and they hung up.....

Got a call. Answered and they hung up.

They have been calling me several times a day for months. Never a message. I Googled AICR and get the American Institute of Cancer Research. I'm suspecting they're looking for money or someone to mail out neighborhood requests for donations.

I have been contacted in the past from them and they are as indicated -- American Institute for Cancer Research.  January is a busy time for groups seeking donations as it's a new year.

I've had calls from this number every day and they never answer when I

THE OTHER NUMBER IS 1-800-521-4941.AMERICAN AGENCIES IS THE NAME OF THE PLACE ACTUALLY CALLING BUT THEY ARE SOMEHOW USING AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF CANCER RESEARCH NUMBER.

Been receiving callings once a from different numbers. 202 607-2601 and 2607.

A call from this number happened mid-morning.   I answered, and they hung up.

We do not pick up numbers we do not know.  We have received many calls from what our caller ID says is AICR at 1-202-607-2601.  When the answering machine picks up the do not leave a message.  this began around mid Jan 2009 and continues through today Feb 15th 2009.

I receive this phone call at least once a day but have never answered because I didn't know who it was.  On the caller ID it comes up as AICR.  Just checked it out and it is the American Institute for Cancer Research.

Calls received at least every other day and sometimes MORE frequently since Jan. 2009.  Caller ID says AICR 202-607-2601.  Google states American Institute for Cancer Research.  Never answered and no message ever left.

Get a call from this number two or three times a week.  They never leave a message.  If I pickup after three rings, they hangup.

I never pick up and the phone goes to the answering machine after two rings. I than receive this recorded message"if you wish to make a phone call, please hang up") etc. This happens every day.
