Called 3x's and left no messages

keep getting call and no response when I pick up.

I got a call too today from this same phone number. They didn't leave a message so I called it back and the Company name said BCR. I have received calls from them from other phone numbers too and they never leave a message. This company needs to be reported.

I have had the same thing happen and also from a Unknown 612-345-5319 nmbr, when i called them back it is Pinnacle Finance Loan Corp, but first I get a call from Pinnacle and then from the BCR, when I answer, no one is there.

They have called my number many, many times, saying they are a credit card company and asking for my Social Security Number.  When I asked them to tell me what SSN they had for the credit card, they said they couldn't give me that info.  Scammers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are definitely scammers. Said they are collecting for T-Mobile after calling my cell phone over and over again.  The first 4 times I got to them they hung up on me.  The last time I talked to a moron who wanted to get my SSN.  What a stupid scam.  They transferred me around and I yelled at everyone and told them how much they sucked.  Entertainment for the afternoon.  I hope no one actually gets taken in by idiots like this.

Called and left no message.  My caller id showed BCR800-831-7311 as well as 202-607-2746.  I have never gotten 2 caller id's from the same phone call - totally weird!  I returned the call and it was answered BCR??  There is a menu with an option of if you are calling because you got a call from us, "press 2".  I could never get a person on the line.  The whole thing seems really bogus.

I also receive many calls from them. I checked the number online on whitepages and it says it's a cell phone from Sprint. Kinda weird if it was a true business.

Many calls from this and 3 other #'s (202-607-2758, 651-204-1374, and 562-219-3190 - this last is local to me).  They NEVER leave a message, and since it's my cell phone and the no's are unidentified, I don't answer.  Every lookup I do on them always includes BCR as an identifier - but since they do not say who they are calling, who is calling, WHY they are calling, etc., I have now saved them under my phone book as CRAP and have it with a no ringtone.  At least it's minimal agro for me, but I sure wish congress was not in the pocket of the credit companies that allow them to get away with this kind of harassment.  
PS - I too am on the Do Not Call Registry.

I have been geting this same call the last few weeks.

4 calls stored on my cell phone, no messages, and when I called back, there is an option to locate their website and they call themselves www.bureauofcorrections.com. They also say that they are located in Minnesota, however 202 is a washington DC area code. Repiort them they are scammers and should be brought down!

Was called many times. The last insisted I had a account with wells fargo. I Told them i have never had a account with them, but they insisted and then rattled off a ss# that was not mine. They had my name and I do not know how they got my ph#.They said I gave it to them?? They finnaly hanged up on me after my angry response.
ps they also switched person on phone. 1rst was man with India acent??
next was a female that spoke correct english

Have recieved numerous calls from 202 607 2746, also 800 83l 7311, 888 276 8528 which are all the same entity, BCR.  They ask repeatedly for my daughter in law who is in another state and separated from my son.  some man with a thick Indian accent does the calling.  They keep calling inspite of being told not to call again.  We are on the do not call registry.  They need to be charged with harassment.

I have received calls from the following numbers in the last few weeks as well: 202-607-2756, 202-607-2806, 202-607-2749, 202-607-2752, 800-831-7311, 804-290-8550, and 319-447-5488. I did not record the dates & times from my caller ID though. However, most of the calls were recordings telling me to call some company called "BCR at 888-276-8209", with no explanation of what the call is about.  Since I had never heard of BCR and have no business with them, I have not returned their calls.

You may want to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and/or your State Attorney's Office. If this company is a debt collection agency, then they are bound by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, which I believe states they cannot call repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at that phone number. And if it's a scam, they should be made aware so they can investigate it.

I get calls at least twice, sometimes up to five times a day from these jack [***].  You always know it's them because when you answer the phone there's always a delay to when the person on the other end starts to speak and it's usually someone who speaks very poor english.  I intend to file a complaint with the FCC, our state atty. generals office, and anyone else that will listen.  I'm sick of them using up my cell minutes.  THIS IS BONIFIED HARASSMENT!!!!!!!  When are they going to get a clue..... Whoever and whatever we owe is not going to get paid with such tactics!!!!

i have also recieved many calls from this number and the 1-800 number as well... no message... nothing... when i call back i do get the BRC company machine... hmmm... weird.

i got a call from 202-607-2746 a couple days ago and they left a really long message on my phone. It sounded like a bunch of guys, and they were laughing and swearing and stuff. just tried to call back but got the BCR company like the rest of you. this is really weird.

Like the rest, I just received the call from 202-607-2746. Sites like this are invaluable for information on these callers. As we have select call forwarding - when these people call back, they will automatically be forwarded to my State Attorney's Office.  :)

I am now getting calls from this number 202-607-2746. On the caller ID box it shows BCR 18008317311. They are now calling every day and every 30 mimutes and at 2:00am and 3:00am in the mornings. Sometime there is no one on the line just a dail tone. Then when they call back it is either a man or a woman. They say that they are calling to collect on unpaid bills from different companies. When I tell them that they have the wrong number that the person is not at this number, they then call me a liar. It is like they are getting the number out of the phone book. They ask for letters of the name in the phone book and try to match to another name. When I tell them they are not to call back and it was illegal to be calling that eary in the morning. They say they have the right to thanks to a judge in Oklahoma saying that they could.
