called my land line several times. I did not pick up, and they did not leave a message. I will answer next time and post the result.

this phone number also called me like 30 times already and no one answers. i called it back and the message says to check the number because it cannot be completed as dialed. im very madddddddddddddddd!!!!!

I got a call from this number tonight. It was from a foreign-sounding person asking to speak to a foreigh-sounding name at my place of residence. I'm almost positive it's a collection agency, as I can hear other voices in the background (and as I work at an inside sales office, I reconize those sounds)

Same here, someone from this number called looking for a person, and wouldn't understand when I said there's nobody with that name here.

I got a call from this number and the collection agency said I owed 400 dollars on a cingular cell phone bill, which i never had. The lady with a foreign accent said "give me ur last social." I guess she was expecting me to give my SSN over the phone, so i laughed and said, "who are u calling to speak to...she said Steven Conwell, which isn't my name or anyone i know.I think this is a scam and i believe they are trying to acquire people info for identity fraud.

Tired of this number calling me i pick up and no one replies at all.

I have about 200+ calls from March 1st to today. Never leave a message and keep calling. This is very old and sick from 8 am and end before 9pm. We are mailing a letter to put an end to this.

Two or more different numbers and locations but it's the same people.
Every Sunday, caller id 202-607-2752,Tagela Fogg (what a name) calls and leaves a message to call 1-888-276-8209. The other days of the week the calls are from 202-600-2749, Washington, DC.
By the way, I've lived here for 8 years and I am not indebted to anyone.
My cell phone is a "tracphone" and only my friends and family know the number. I turn off my home phone ringer and turn the message announcement down to 0 during the time I am home. At night, I smile to myself as I delete the messages and numbers.

I receive 4 to 5 calls weekly from 202-607-2752 and 202-607-2749.  This has been going on for months (like 3, I estimate).  Rarely is there an attempt to leave a message, and almost all attempts have been unintelligible. Unlike Rae, I have not noticed a pattern of 2752 on Sandays and 2749 other days, but I will go back and check for this.  Like Rae, I have come up with Tagela Fogg as the name behind the number.  I have not and will not ever call back.

They have called us from both #'s.  I just called the 888-276-8209 and someone put me on hold and never came back.  Then I called back she ask me my home # which I gave to her and she then disconnected the call by saying just a second.

I got several calls also.  It sounds to me like they are fishing for names and numbers for telemarketing purp;oses.

I have received calls from the following numbers in the last few weeks as well: 202-607-2756, 202-607-2806, 202-607-2749, 202-607-2752, 800-831-7311, 804-290-8550, and 319-447-5488. I did not record the dates & times from my caller ID though. However, most of the calls were recordings telling me to call some company called "BCR at 888-276-8209", with no explanation of what the call is about.  Since I had never heard of BCR and have no business with them, I have not returned their calls.

You may want to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and/or your State Attorney's Office. If this company is a debt collection agency, then they are bound by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, which I believe states they cannot call repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at that phone number. And if it's a scam, they should be made aware so they can investigate it.
