call repeatedly throughout the day

They just Keep calling- and calling All hours Never leaving a Message of any kind _ i wish for this to STOP

Called right at 8 am - I answered on the second ring - there was just silence - finally the call ended but no one ever spoke. I think they are using autodialers but they don't have enough staff to talk to everyone who answers. Autodialers should be illegal. Plus they are calling me on my cell phone running up my bill! Jerks. I will file a complaint with the DNC list folks.

they have been calling me every hour or half hour and its annoying. i am currently speaking to a lawyer because 3rd pary collection agencys arent allowed to call more than 2 times a day. they also never leave a message

Called every hour for 6 hours, never left message.

These people are determined... they call about every hour to hour and a half every day from different numbers as well as this one!  This number comes up Washington, DC on the caller ID, but they never answer when I pick up and they have never left a message as of yet.

I have received 8 calls (202) 607-2932 in the past 24 hours. Each call at some rude hour in the evening or early morning and it's driving me nuts!!!

just pay your bills and they wont call.

I dont have an account with any of them. So why should I be bothered by there insistant calls twit? Everytime they call I file another complaint with the dnc.

Made Payment arrangements with them two weeks ago the calls stopped for 2 days then resumed. they've called 21 times in a 7 day period. This is harassment in it's purest form. I've agreed to work with them and they still harass me?

I have gotten phone calls as early as 6am.  They keep asking for a person by the name of Donna and I tell them that there is no Donna at this number but they still call.  Yesterday they called 14 time between 6am and 9pm last night.

What is up with this. I would call them back but I will have to pay for the call too.

They call 3 to 4 times a day usually with 30 minute intervals.  Plus I get calls from:

These numbers are all from the same company NCO debt collectors.  They are ruthless, heartless, not to be trusted(everything they tell you on the phone is a lie) and even if you are making payments they still call and haress you.

Ok, these unmanned calls have got to stop.  It shouldn't matter if I debt or not.  This automated crap is useless, except to drive a person insane.....

This is a collection agency that 'Capitol One' has hired to harrass you.  You want to blame the NCO or MCO or whomever they hide themselves to be, but you are missing one important factor - CAPITOL ONE hired the hinch men to ruff you up - even after you make payments, make arrangements, etc.  The company has been fined in so many States in this country - yet they still perform.  How is that possible?  Capitol One.   You ask them to not call your number and, according to the federal law, they have to stop - but they don't.  Why don't they care?  Because Capitol One is paying them off to harrass you.  What other reputable credit card company does this?  None.

So fight back!   What moves faster than the word of mouth?   Nothing!  Not even this stupid internet communication.  You've got to speak to other people.  Pass the word and that word should be:  DO NO GET A CAPITOL ONE CREDIT CARD.  You should tell your friends, co-workers, bus drivers, people on the street - talk about it!  Stop hiding!  Tell how Capitol One hires their harrassins.  Talk about it in the clubs, at a dinner party, etc.  SPREAD THE WORD - Capitol One hires harrssins, stupid telephone calling hinch people for a buck.

On January 27, 2006, the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection (BCP) announced an Assurance of Voluntary Compliance (AVC) with NCO Financial Systems to resolve issues concerning the company's operational practices. The BCP alleged violations of the PA Consumer Protection Law and Fair Credit Extension Uniformity Act and were supported by complaints filed by consumers alleging the company's unfair, deceptive, or misleading debt collections practices. Under terms of the AVC, the company has agreed to implement new collections procedures, discipline representatives who do not follow correct procedures, improve monitoring and enforcing standards with subcontractor collection agents, and pay $300,000.00 as costs of investigation and future public protection purposes. numerous calls all day and from different numbers

They constantly call from different numbers and it shows NCO on the caller id but we have never received anything in the mail stating that we owe anything. How do they expect people to pay back what they owe when they don't leave a message or send anything to you. If I didn't have caller id then I would never know that they have called. I have got atleast 15 calls a day from different numbers from the same company. This has got to stop.
