Caller identified as Adam Foster, then Kevin Phillips but a woman made the initial call claiming to have a grant for college expenses.  Tried to obtain account information, offering a direct deposit of the funds.  Would not give company name. Total scam, called my son's phone.  Police notified.

Just got a call from 3152108541 told me the call back number was 2026182522. I called back and vm said it was for a Kevin Phillips. THIS IS A SCAM!

I JUST gotten a phone call from PHILLIP claimed that I've 10.000 DOLLARS owed to me.But I've have to send them money to activate the account

Received a call from another number was told to call this number 202-618-2522. So I did. It went to a voicemail with the name Kevin Crook. This is a scam. Wanted me to put $270 dollars on an itunes gift card to receive $9000. And I could get all the money through western union.

This same number called and tried to get my card information. With the words that I would get 9000 dollars in grant money. Straight scam u never have buy anything if its free money.

A different number initially called me saying I received a grant of 9000. Told me to call this number. Voicemail said the name was Kevin then he just called me back like 5 times practically yelling at me asking how I got that number. This is a scam. Don't fall for it.

The same thing happen to me as well as the other  people on here. This is the same number 202-618-2522. The guy is telling me I was awarded $9000 dollars from the government. They had personal information about where I live, my age, and my name etc... He just told me he will call me back. I cant wait to give him some choice words

a female called me today about 9000$ fed grant from the govt...she got mine zip code wrong 245..something and i corrected her and played along.

Total scam. They just tried to call me today. So glad I looked this number up. There were some things wrong as well. A woman called first and then told me to call this number and it was some gut named Kevin Phillips. Thanks. Please do your homework on these people.

This number just called me and they didn't even allowed me to ask any questions, they were just talking really fast and gave me a number for the finance department. Weird.

I got a call from same no they told me same thing a female talk 2 me her name is k.jonsan she told me go to your nearest store Walgreen or 7eleven give them 250$ and than they give you a pak of 9000$ and also payback you your 250 also one more thing they also give me a code no

A complete and utter scam. The govenment doesn't just give grants to random people, you have to apply for them. And when you do, you don't have to pay to receive it. And you most certainly DON'T pay the government for ANYTHING with an iTunes or other type gift card. Just block and ignore these calls.

they called me with the same pitch , also  I got the same call last year. they wanted me  to put some money on a green dot or something.

Want you to send then $299 to verify your account info, And cover taxes etc on the $9000 they are giving you. tell thenm to send the check and you will risk it being wrong, so just tell them to send a check since they know where you live..

Supposedly they have $9,000 with my name on it.. LOL Just call the finance department and they will send it right away.. yes I'm sure they will :-) There must be a lot of really stupid people out there if they are falling for this BS.

I'm sure that is what it says on a banner, T-shirts and coffee mugs at the many call centers that make these calls.
The fact is that there are people who don't know and fall for it because they are uninformed about scams. Ranting about them won't prevent them from becoming a victim, but educating people ABOUT the scam might.

Called twice. Answered on the second call but didn’t say anything. Male voice said “hello” a few times then “f*** you” two or three times. Will be blocking this number.

Phone rang 4 times and activated my answering machine.  No message. *69'd the caller and got this number.  Attempted to return call;  return call was blocked.

Told them to stop calling. They told me no & that they'd call back

I got a call from micheal williams . he said i got a grant for 7,400.00 to do what ever i wanted as long as it is legal. Also . bank account,  credit card, debt card or prepaid card . i told him to send check and he said to many checks where stolen after sent out. So he gave me a address in washington DC. I think it was some numbers indendent way . lol so funny . tgen they called back today. Just conversation in background.
