i recieved a call last week  caller id said it was grant dep, i spoke to a lady named janell renalds she  told me i have been aproved for a grant . i wasnot givey sertan grant info   any case number or any refarence to any requierments or guid lines  to fallow.i have tried to call her bake i just get a recording no calls back also asked her to text me if it was easer. havent  recieved anything  i dont whant to keep wasting my time looking for all the info i need to compleate the 9 page grant propsal that i was tolled to send to them befor april 20th 2012 i wasnot given a department to send it to please if you could help in finding out if this is real or not

I received a similar phone call today.   I was given a case number and was asked to call her back on Monday.  I didn't catch the department either.  I also talked with Janelle Reynolds.

I should add that Janelle knew exactly what kind of grant I was looking for.  May I ask if this is true for you?

I got a call from jenell yesterday saying I was approved for a loan. She knew what my request was for also. I have been calling constantly to try to get back in touch and I keep getting a voice mail recording. I received a case number and she told me I had until this evening to get back in touch with her to finish process. Said funds won't be released until the 3rd week in July. I just want to know if it is real????

Looks Like we will be applying for the same grant.  I talked with her again and was refered to a certified grant writer in Florida.

Are you sure she said "Loan" and not a grant?  I was told "grant".

I was also referred to a grant writer in clearwater florida. i have spoke to her 4 times now.

I just received a phone from 202-618-6131 and Janelle Reynolds regarding a grant request I made as well. It's pretty obvious this is some type of scam....she stated that she works for the U.S. Government but would not give me the physical address where their office is located, no case or file number, just wanted to refer me to a "Professional Grant Proposal Writing Service" which would cost around $500. Somehow, without knowing anything about the business I am looking to open, Janelle said I was approved for a $50,000 grant. Whoever this person and/or company is, obviously bought some type of list of leads with our names and phone numbers on it to solicit. I AM NOT TAKING ANYMORE CALLS FROM ANYONE RELATED TO GRANTS, HUGE SCAM!!!

YES, THIS IS A SCAM AND SHE TOLD ME THE SAME THING, THAT MY APPLICATION IS INCOMPLETE AND THAT SHE COULD REFER ME TO SOMEONE, WHEN I ASKED IF THERE WAS A FEE, SHE SAID TO CALL TOMORROW, I AM GOING TO REPORT THIS AS ITS THE SAME PERSON WITH THE SAME NUMBER...VERY SAD!!

I was approached by Janelle who also knew my business .. is this really a true legitimate grant office
