Received a call on my cell phone and house phone. Didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. About 5 mins later they called again, and again, and again. I set them up in my cell phone as a SPAM contact and selected send directly to voicemail in my settings. Wish I could do this on my home phone.

This is a telemarketer posing as a political survey.
They will "Give you a 2 night Caribbean Vacation" for 30 sec of your time.
You only have to "pay certain fees and taxes". Of course it is up-gradable.

They also give you the option to press "9" to be removed from their system...for the 14th time this month.

I got a cell call from this number with no message left.  There was no name associated with the call.

It appears the Do Not Call registry is a joke.  Verizon lets me block 5 numbers for 90 days but I'd like the option to block numbers permanently.

This number has called me multiple times, never leaving message. Finally discovered where call originated, would love to complain but nobody answers when I call THEM at 2:00 in the morning!

I received a call from this number.  No message left.

I do not answer a number I do not know.  Save us both some time.....Stop calling.

I'm receiving calls from this number.  Have asked them to stop calling.  Wish they would get the message.

I have received several calls from this number.  I now answer them and when they ask for a name I use Mr Andersen, they ask for my credit card info to lower my interest rates, HA!.  I make the credit card number up along with a card.  My goal is to keep them on the phone as long as possible, that way that person cannot bother anyone else.  My record so far is 17 minutes.

I have received lots of "mystery calls" from all over the country. Are listed on sites like this where people consistently report that they are on the Do Not Call list. I'm starting to think that's where tbey're getting our numbers. Surveys are excluded from the DNC list. BTW, I never answer unfamiliar numbers including these.

Moments earlier I had received this SPAM text yesterday (11/30/13) after 9pm, from this #:
+1 (202) 644-3743

"when you dial305after290plus3511then I willbvy(thatcar;m)"

Fearing "more" of these type of texts were to come - I turned my phone OFF! When I turned my phone back on, I assigned these numbers as SPAM & if I get anymore calls from these or other annoying numbers - I will "immediately" turn my phone OFF again!

Any way to prevent these annoying texts?
