This number has been calling my grandmother's house claiming to be IRS saying that legal action is about to be pursued. They leave a call back number with no ext.

Same thing here but when I continued to question the person( very broken english) he would not give me information so I didn't give him any either ..he hung up ...don't believe it is IRS....

Well they hung up on me when i tried to ask for someone that could speak English that I could understand, so i called back and got called a [***] when i asked again for someone that could speak proper English

Received call saying the IRS was initiating a law suit against me. Called back and I knew it was a scam because they picked up on the first ring. Broken English.
IRS will not notify you by a cold phone call.

I got the same message from irs. Called back. No answer.

I got this same call about an IRS lawsuit.  He answered and said some vulgar stuff that I won't retype here. It's a scam and I'm reporting now.

Called me at my home #.

This is a fraud. They Robo called us twice today and several times in the past threatening legal action.
File a report at https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml. I hope they catch these fools as I'm getting tired of them calling.

Called claiming to be IRS and they are going to sue me LOL If they ever answer the phone, I will offer to fix their windows computer because it is sending out error messages over the internet so they need to let me use TeamViewer to fix it!

Called the house saying the IRS is taking legal action unless I call.  Unfortunately for them the news covers this type of thing all the time.  The IRS never calls with these things.  If only they put this much energy into a legal profession.....

Got a message from someone claiming that the IRS is going to sue me.

Scam.

Called my parents twice and insisted they had to pay $4,000 for some government loans that defaulted from 2008.  Details were "unavailable" in DC.  And if payment was not made sane day, they would be sued for the full amount.

I just got the same call.  Thanks for all of your comments.  Now I know to ignore it.
