202-738-1027- DC USA- called 3 times no message, last call I answered and no one was on the other end. Does anyone know anything about this number?????

They did not leave a voice message. Along with 2 other unknown numbers???

i have been receiving multiple calls from this phone number daily. no one answers or leaves messages or says anything when i pick up the call.  how do i get them tos top calling me?

Calls several times a day when answered the caller is silent for a second then speaks obscene language

Omgosh!! They won't stop calling!! The guy on the other end is rude and very disrespectful!! He said he was from government grants.. Not interested!!

get about10 to20 call aday want it stop

These people call and call and call.  half the time no one is there.  I say hello then I might hear someone for a second or two then nothing.  How do you get them to stop calling.

Received a call from this number 4 times so far today and it's only 3:48 pm!

So they called again!  Gonna try the strategy I use for other unwanted calls...answer, put the phone by the TV speakers and let them listen to it until they hang up!  Usually after 2 or 3 times doing this, they stop calling.  We'll see!

Very annoying. Has called 6 times today. At one point I spoke to him and he wanted to offer me a govt grant.,
I told him I knew he was a scam artist and to lose my number.  I received 4 more calls after that. There has to be a way to stop this insanity.  I'm sure some people get raked in, and end up giving personal information and have money stolen from them. This is not the only (202) number that calls me and also pops up on my phone as being from DC USA

Me too...got a call just a few mins ago.  I politely declined and told the guy to remove me from their list.  He said 'No' at first...and then said it would cost me $30 to remove my number from their list.  I asked him if he wanted trouble with the FTC for soliciting money to be removed from their list... He got angry and stupid....and I think I hit a nerve...YES!!!  Hung up on him after that!  We;ll see if they call back again...

I have been recieving calls everyday at 7 in the morning and this morning I asked for my # to be taken off the call list and the man told he would do it after I answered his question. He asked me " Did you have sex lastnight? I couldn't believe it!!! Who r these people!!! I'm am livid!!!!!

keeps calling me asking me for someone 7 to 10 * a day for mayor

The caller asked for me and told my wife he was from the US Government and didn't leave a call back number and the then hung up.

Received many calls .When did have someone respond when I answered they said from Government of US and had a grant for me of 6000$ . I said great .She asked  how do you want to receive it into your account or by cash . I said by certified check would be great . They hung up. I guess I still win not scammed today .Ha Ha

Same deal, some guy from government grants. I am thinking this is connected with applications for scholarships. He is definitely Hindi or something.

He said he was from sort of government grant department.  I asked him to remove my number from their list. and he started offering sexual favors.   I reported the number.

i got the same offer for a government grant that others got. I gave him my name and address because i figured they could just look that up if wanted, they already had my cell number. I was told to call back and given a confirmation number. Any idea what the scam is?

He is calling from Washington DC the number shows.
