- james replies to Mickeyyes today I rec'd 2 phone calls saying the IRS is suing me for inproper tax forms from 2008 - 2013. this person had heavy accent and could not hardly be understood. I new right away this was a scam and I'am sure they will call back again. I will contact the IRS over this.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I gave out no info... The caller ID' said private number. But they left a phone number on my answering machine. So I'm glad I researched the number.

IRS never calls taxpayers by phone in any such matter. They communicate by letter via the U.S. mail.
This scam in its various forms must make a lot of money; I know 3 people who have received threatening calls from fake IRS people. Some callers have some pretty sophisticated set-ups. DON'T FALL FOR THIS.- Caller: Fake IRS
