Just received a voicemail and called it back about a lawsuit.... they are from the middle east somewhere it sounds like and it's a total scam.  The IRS isn't going to utilize something like this to sue you.

Did a *67 call block on my end and called number.  Surprise, no one answers.  Guess the IRS is underfunded and doesn't even have voicemail.

Call from the Internal Revenue Services. (First clue...they never call)  They have a lawsuit against me.  (Second clue...they would never call it a lawsuit so early in the process)  Call to get more about the case file. (Last clue...not a toll free number).

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Same here.  When I called a [***] asked to speak to my wife. Said she owes him money.  Said she'd been sleeping with him the last two nights.  I laughed and told him there was no way she'd be caught with an ashy [***] sheet and Jesus sandals wearing price of [***].

I received a call from this number on 10-8-15 saying that the IRS was about to sue me.  I called back the number on 10-9-15 and got a recorded message stating that the number was no longer in service.  Big shock.  Not!  Total scam.
