- concerned citizensomeone from this number called my mom and said she won $25,000.00. She did not call back, but I did. When I could barely understand his thick accent, I hung up. He immediately called back and demanded to talk to my mom. I hung up again.
- Phone scam| 1 replyThis is definitely a scam! Called my dad's phone and was asking about his bank account saying he won the publishers clearing house! Way too many personal questions to be legit!

• There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.
• If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
• You have not won big bucks from a benign benefactor, a pot of pesos from PCH, dinero from a doctor, or a grant from a gracious government <<<<<<<<<<<<<
• The tooth fairy really does not exist
• Everything you read on the internet is not necessarily true.
• It is illegal to pay money for a loan or prize, BEFORE getting the loan or prize!
• "Free Trips" are loaded with mandatory & costly extras, and you usually must give them your card number after listening to a loooong spiel at a hotel.
• Microsoft or one of their agents did NOT cold call you to fix your computer.
• The moon is not made of green cheese.
• The IRS will snailmail you, rather than phone you, if there is a problem.
• Jackalope milk is not an aphrodisiac.
• If you "green dot" or Western Union money to a scammer, the money is gone.
• You should beware of Greeks bearing gifts, specially if the gift is a wooden horse. - Concerned DaughterThey tried to scam my 85 year old mother!
