Called my house phone and offered my daughter the same scam. Foreign accent. Called number back and lady said call us before you go to Western Union to pick up your money.

got one to i called the real grange offices in DC and they verified that it is a scam.

these people are nothing but scam artists how do randomly pick me out of a million people all over the world and why do i have to send you some money in order to receive some money when if thats true why not take it out of the check the lady name is nancy smith her number is 2027381464 watch out scam

Same thing happened to me telling me I qualified for a grant of 7,800$ as long as I payed $250... same number same accent and I purposely tried calling the number after what would be business hours to find this is a wireless phone. If this was a company or legit business they'd have a proper answering machine of sorts...ignore these morons or if you find a way, report them.

i just got the same phone call! i called the number and the man was rude to me, i got rude back and he asked me if i had 250.00. i told him yes i have 250.00! he said "maam, im sorry this is a scam!"

Got the same phone call same number and reported them to the federal trade commission. Gave them the name and number of the person who called, and what they were offering we all should report this to the FTC

I got a Call from this # and I dont even know why!

they called me for a grant 7800 dollar but on condition of paying 250 dollars first via western union, they told me that its governmental and i cannot inform the people of western union with it so they would charge me.. the girl called tracy berry, but her accent is asian.. the funniest thing that they told me i won the grant cause i am a good citizen who payed my taxes.. while i am not a US citizen :)

just got this call from 202 738 1464..  the chick yelled at me for asking for a call back number, then she yelled at me for not taking advantage of this Once in a life-time chance to get 7800.00 of FREE Gov't money..  I had to laugh..

Same number, same scam. Foreign accent named Gloria Kelly. Wanted $250, deposit for a govt grant of 7800.00. advised not to mention to western union. Please beware. Thanks everyone for your posts

I sent the western union and was promptly reimbursed the $250 plus I received the full amount $7800!  i just had to go to 5 different kroger locations because they have a $2000 wu limit.  i thought it was prolly a scam but they have an even better scam to get you the real $$$.  i spoke with an addmission specialist the previous day and he told me how to do it all.
