Was called telling me I had been sellected to recieve a guarenteed government grant. Heavy accent.....government grant..... $9000. Just call this # to receive. Asked for various account numbers to deposit grant money. Sounds fishy....I will not call.

Sounds kinda fishy wanted to give a grant but wants me too pay for it really

I got the same call.  Voice said I was selected because of no criminal record, bankruptcies, etc.  I told him I filed for bankruptcy 2 years ago.  Voice said that was ok, they were only looking for the past year.  I know our government, they just don't do this - BEWARE!!! Obvious scam.

I got the same call except I said I wanted my money in cash, no direct deposit. I was told to call a manager at this number. He'll no I wasn't going to call. It's a scam and even I could was that.

Received call stating that I was selected by the Government to receive a $9000.00 grant. Said I had no criminal or bankruptcy record. Asked for my bank account number where the money could be deposited. I refused to give that information. Asked if they could send the money through Western Union. They said yes, however, I needed to pay $220.00. I said I had no money and I hang up the phone. These folks English language was no good and it was then I said that this is a scam.

Ive been prank calling them so much they changed the number..... ruined my damn fun.... :(

They told me the same lies about the $9000 grant money.... but they ask me for $250.00

Got a call from a blocked # saying I was going to get $ 9,000 grant $$ that I did not have to pay back, the government said I was a great guy, paid my bills on time, no bankruptcy on my file & I was to use the money only for something good, not to gamble it away, etc.........

Just call his treasury agent from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York & my money would be released to me within 45 minutes via Western Union if I chose cash, I knew it was a scam so, I got as much information as I could before he hung up.

I was to call (202) 738-1599 & ask for my " Loyalty Grant " from the Treasury Department...

He said his name was " Vincent Ken " extension # 122 & my grant # was AB144 & they were located at 200 Independence Avenue SW - HHH Building, Washington, D.C. 20201 & he was with the Human & Health Services Dept.

Got the same call said for me to give them 252$ then I'll get 9000$ because I never filed. Bankurupsy before. The I was selected a grant winner
