Mr. Dean Perry ostenisbly Attorney at law for the Publishers' clearing house, wants my father in law to call him back about urgent business (hah!).  I asked for another number ot call to verify, and of course was told to call the numebr he gave me - 202-738-1627.  Good luck Mr. Perry, get a life!

They call and said that they are the IRS and they are going to put my property on the market.

Another bogus call about the IRS supposedly issuing a warrant for someone's arrest and that I need to call them back immediately to take care of it.  In other words, give them money.  IF the IRS were really trying to get in contact with anyone, they would send a letter from the Treasury Department with a legitimate number to call.  They would never call you directly.

Just got a call from this number. The recorded message said the IRS had issued a direct warrant against me, and that my property was in a state of investigation. Of course I knew it was bogus and looked the number up online. As Gauvaine stated the IRS will contact you by mail.

This man claims to be from the IRS and is rude, obnoxious, and makes threats saying I owe the IRS, I haven't worked in years... This is a scammer and when I told him I would notify the FBI of his threats he hung up..

Same as above. Scam recorded call saying that the IRS is coming to arrest me unless I call them back.

I called them back a few times and started asking questions. They all hung up on me. So I reported the number to the FBI and they said there was already over 500 reports just today.

These idiots called my elderly mother telling her she was going to lose her paid for house. Third world sounding thief, does he not have a bomb to build or something

Just received at call that sounded like it was a computer...said that my physical property and I were under warrant and if I didn't call them back they would proceed with prosecution.  Yea, ok.

Same as everyone, number claiming to be from irs and I have an arrest warrant out.

Same as all the above.  Scam!  IRS will not call you.  You would receive correspondence from them

Claims to be with the IRS and that they are going to swear out arrest warrants, has my wife totally freaking out, this has to stop

Treating call that the IRS has us under investigation for tax fraud and we need to immediately call back.
I believe the IRS would make much different and legal ways to contact us.

I received the same call and at first, freaked me out but put some thought into since it didn't sound right and googled the number.  This came up and I feel better now that I did not answer or call back.  Thanks!

This caller called me today, November 9, 2015. It was a very unintelligible voice recording on my answering machine. Saying that I,well not even me they didn't say who the call was for.  saying that we were under investigation and that we needed to call a certain number back right away.

Same IRS threat. IRS criminal investigation unit. Gusts a recording then a call.
