A man called and said I was chosen to receive a grant for $7.000. to use any way I wanted.  he said I had to call 202-738-1806 and ask for Judy Taylor.  Been calling that number for 2 days now,always getting a busy signal.

A man called me and said I was chosen to receive a grant for $7,000,00 to use in any way I wanted.  He told me to call this number 202[-738-1806 and ask for Judy Taylor about how I wanted to receive it.  I've been calling this number for two days straight,always getting a busy signal.

Same...it was a lady yhat called then told me call 2027381806 but no one answers I believe were getting scammed. ..

I got the same phone call  and I think this is a scam....do not give your checking account # to them...She told me to call Judy Taylor...

i got call today and they told me to deposit 200 dollar refundable to get the aid claimed to be distributed by fedral authorities what are authorities doing

I just got the same thing, only I was given a confirmation number and to call 202-738-1806. I called the number, same lady answered the phone who said I could pick up my free money at any Western Union. I would just need to put up a $200 dollar deposit which I would get back in a few minutes with the $7000, making the total amount $7200.00. This is diffidently a scam. It the money was FREE, why a deposit.

It doesn't matter what they offer. Be it "Grants", "Winnings"," Loans" etc; If they want money (in ANY form) up front...they are FRAUDS!  ALWAYS!  NO EXCEPTIONS!  EVER!
Especially if the words "Western Union" or "Green dot" or "Credit/Debit Card" come up!

I have a disabled husband who has been receiving calls similar to the other bloggers.I intercepted the call when "mike" asked my husband for his checking account number. I think its a shame we have to be on constant alert because of our democratic society. I believe that these folks are from overseas. Does anyone have any idea as to how we can bring them to justice?

I just received this call today from Crysten Watts (private number). She stated that I was able to receive a grant for 9500.00. I was chosed because I have never filed for bankruptcy and a clean criminal record.  I was told to call "Judy Taylor, Account Supervisor" (202-738-1806). Crysten stated that I only needed to give Judy my grant # and the funds would be released to me via checking account, debit card, or western union. I called the number also, never got an answer.  I will take the "free" money on a debit card but will not be giving out my checking account information.

I also got a call telling I had been chosen to receive 9,000 in grant money. It was a lady I spoke with that told me to call a Judy Taylor. So i called a she answer & said if i could call her back in 40 minutes. I'm positive this is fraud.

Same here. Just got a call from thus number telling me to call another number and ask for Judy Taylor. They said I had gotten approved for a federal grant and could pick it up at any Western Union.
