I got a call from this number 202-738-0864 and he said he was from the government and they were giving citizen who have never been in trouble and pay there taxes $9,000 but I knew right away it was not real because he had a foreign accent and he wanted my card number or bank number and then he told me to call another number 202-210-0054 so I did and it was the same person and he said any order to get my money I had to pay a bank fee of $250 but I didn't give him my real card number and I told him it was a scam and I was going to report it, so be safe

I recurved a call from 202-210-0054 staying I had been awarded a grant if $9000.00 dollars , I have them a invalid card number. they told me to call 202-738-1864 to get them to release funds. I called just to see who would answer and it went to voicemail. its a total scan good thing I was smart enough to realize this and did not give them a card number or bank account information.

They got me. But said nothing boit goverment or 250 $

They called me from 202-210-0054 and said that they were from the US department of grants and loans and asked for account information. It sounds legit until you call 202-738-1864 and get everything set up and then at the last second they tell you that because $9000 is such a large amount that you would have to wire them $200 for the bank to release the money and started talking about how the money would come from a bank in New York and then a second bank in Africa. If you read this before you make the second call, DON'T call the second number. If you read this after the second call then call your bank and close your account to open a new one.

They gave me this number in which is 2027381864 and they said that I can get 7,000.00 USD and now I'm searching to see if this is a fraud

You get a phone call out of the blue saying you will get a lot of money, but first you need to pay a fee, give out account or credit card info, use a wire transfer service, or load a prepaid money/debit card with funds and give them the account number off it?

It is fraud.

If its for a loan, it is against federal law to require upfront money on a loan offer over the phone.
If its for a grant, the government does not solicit, require money or fees, nor offers grants to individuals.
If its for a lottery or drawing, you never win a lotto or drawing without first having entered into one nor are required to pay fees or taxes upfront.
If its some foreign official, millionaire, royalty, or big company wanting help in moving money, it is a pure money laundering scam.

You do not get a legit call out of the blue offering money, you only get scammers and thieves.
