IRS Officer

Someone pretending to be an IRS officer called me, said that I've had tax fraud. She gave me her name, badge number, and my case number! Fortunately she did not have my old address and couldn't answer other questions I asked to make sure she was really from IRS!

Just an hour before the phone call I received an email from a friend I haven't heard from for a long time! I replied the email with my new email address and phone number. I guess this was how they got my new contact information.

The caller did not have American accent.

just received voicemail message, that I was under investigation, called from another phone and no answer!!!

Just received message. Says I'm under investigation for tax fraud. I've never not filed. And have always used a tax agent to do my taxes.

give them nothing.  it's a scam.  IRS does things via regular mail not phone calls.

some illiterate dude called from this number and said there was a warrant out for my arrest by the U.S. Treasury Department. Righhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhht.

Got message that I am under investigation re tax fraud, asking for a call back. Obviously a scam!!!

I have called this # back and couldn't understand the person I don't know what this is but you need to stop or do what you want and I'll sue the hell out of you for wrongdoing thank you and have a nice day
