Received a call from this number (202) 802-9455 - which came up as Washington DC and a computer generated female voice identified the call was from the IRS and that a lawsuit has been filed by the IRS Against me and an Arrest Warrant for me has been issued. The voice directed me to call another number ( (972) 505-5629 ) and stated that an IRS Agent was waiting for my call.
Woooo! Oh no! A lawsuit AND an arrest warrant! I’ll have to flee the country!
I hate these scammers - they keep getting more sophisticated. Instead of a cold call from an “IRS Agent” who barely speaks English they’ve moved to a computer generated voice.

Heh, I got the same thing. I called her out on her scam. I got the lady really mad. I got her to the point that she was screaming and yelling and cussing me out. Then proceeded to call me repeatedly, every 2 minutes for about 20 minutes. Leaving rude, vulgar and threatening messages. I was driving my roommate to work and he took my phone, answered and messed with her head for 10 minutes. Saying that this was his phone and there's no lady here. And she was losing it. He gave her a fake name for me and She said, yeah, that's her! She started playing flip the roles, she told him I called her claiming to be the IRS and stole $15,000 from her. He said, "Yeah, you have to ignore those people, those scamming a**holes are scum." Lmao, she agreed! So I laughed and said, you just admitted to being scum! And she hasn't called since.

Scam call claiming IRS issued an arrest warrant against me

Got a call saying that there’s an arrest warrant for getting too much tax return and I’ Defrauded the government. Now I’ Going to jail unless I make a payment now. That will make the arrest warrant go away.

This number and other similar numbers call me about 30 times a day. I block them and a minute later another similar number calls again. My block list is huge. They need to stop!!!!

"Sarah" from US Census Bureau called to ask if they had reached my cell number (duh - should have been red flag) & I asked what the call was about.  "Needed to verify about completing the census for ___ address".  I said had never lived there & hung up.  Blocked & reported spam.  Liars.

Hey, buy that airline ticket yet?  Apparently I need to leave the country too.  I got the same call.  Maybe if we buy two tickets we'll get a discount.
