These people are fraud. They try to threaten me.  They are going to say you wrote some fraudulent check but they actually have your personal info.  I haven't written a check in 5 years, so I am sure they don't have any accuracy.  These people try to scare you.  Don't beleive them.  Its scary how they act.  They said someone is on their way to pick me up.  Liars, and they should be jailed.

I had a voice mail where Verizon said the number was from 2028270663. The message left stated the person's name was Thomas Clout from the Tech Fraud division of the district 217 of the state of Texas and that I was under investigation for being affiliated with someone named Nichole Hayes (of whom I do not know). The number he told me to call back was 2028270063....he inverted some numbers there. I had to keep replaying the message to make sure that was what he stated. My guess is that this is a complete scam. I did try to call both numbers back. The number verizon stated the number was from just rang and rang. The number Mr. Clout stated was a damn fax machine. The area code of for Washington, DC. If they want me bad enough, mail me the info.... I'm not giving anyone anything over the phone. Oh, and he ended the call with... "be sure to guard your information". [***].

This happened to me today and Clout seems to have all of my information and also attempted to contact my ex-inlaws stating that I have a warrant for my arrest. He used the same scam with me that i have a bad check out from 2005 and I needed to send them 948.17 "to be exact". I told them to go ahead and prosecute if that is what they felt they needed to do. I really with that the police or higher-ups would get involved and stop things like this from happening. I have had my identity stolen in more ways than one numerous times.
