They said that I was writing bad checks and that the fed were coming to arrest me. When I called the local police department, they told me that it was a debt collector and they are not suppose to make threatening phone calls and to take their name and number and turn them in.

They said that i was writing bad checks and they was going to have me arrested if I don't send them money in two hours I am afraid these people will hurt me they said they will send a police car person to pick me up

Receive  a call tell I had charges against me from advance America.that the company had me on cam getting the money.told me she would get someone to help me.then she came back and told me it would be 885 . I had 2 hour to call back with a pre paid card with the money on it. Then we could set up payment.

I received a call today from this # saying pretty much the same thing as the other people say.  Theft, larceny and bad checks.  This is so dumb, they said there would be a warrant for my arrest and I would be picked up.  Wow!

Two calls in two days with the same exact message.. Jennifer Leigh from the fraud and bad checks division. Never gave me a company name. I'm tired of being harassed!! What what can I do to get it to stop? This happened back in February, I contacted the police and they said they were a fake company embezzling money from people that they can find a background on. If you have info out there they will find it and use it to try and get money from you..

Received a phone call from a debt collector that said I had committed check fraud. Which I had not, the first call was a message that left a number for me to call 202-827-1136. When I called it was a lady?? said she was an investigator and if I didn't pay a debt that she was going to have a warrant for my arrest issued. Long story short, I'm glad I did some investigating myself.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Fast talking.. I'm speechless.. jennifer lee or leigh God don't like ugly.

Wow............................... I had to regroup after that call and think tbh.. but bottom line really....9yrs ago.. found my bank statements.. so. wrong! Get a life!!

I Recieve a call from Jennifer Lee stating she was Fraud investergation she said i was wanted for Bad Checks and if i didnt pay 980.00 Today . I would be arrested  .... So i asked her could she send me a copy of the checks and she refuse to .......

Call from 202-827-1136 to my work number but no one answered just hung up?!!!!! I hate calls like that.:(

Same thing here , she changed up her story on me I asked for her address and she got mad and said I was refusing to pay and hung up on me .
