They I was picked to receive a $9000 grant but I had to buy an I tunes card for $200 to complete the registration process to get the money and I would get it back when the money is disbursed. The felony law is is $950 so anyone who pays under this' amount in CA they won't even go after   So this is definitely a scammer

You can't get a grant you never applied for and you never have to pay money to apply for, or receive said grant.  More information here about this type of scam:

I got that very same call,thought it was a scam and I hung up.

I did not receive acaller at the end of the call now I'm just having fun with them. I called back and left a message that said I was returning the call from the phone number for which I told them not to call back. If I keep answering the phone this could be fun cuz I could really play

Asked for my name and when I said yes they hung up.

Middle Eastern sounding callers.  First call was a woman the second was a man.  Say they are from US grants. About this time I hang up on them.

Caller called twice on tuesday may 3, missed them both, but tried to return their calls today may 5 and was told my call could not be completed. So, I'm deleting the number.

This is definitely a scam just hang up

The first call I got was from a woman who sounded like she had marbles in her mouth so I couldnt understand her anyway.  Then 2 hours later I didnt even bother to answer.

Scam
Sometimes they may say to you they will put money into you acount after they have all your bank info. And then you have to send it back to them by going to Walmart and send it to them.  They cancel a real withdrawal pretending it was theirs. Then they threatened you with legal charges when you figure it out.

Getting calls from 202-837-6723.

I kept getting calls from this number. I am college right now and after reading these comments, I can why they are trying to call me. I never answer the calls from this number. When I check the voicemails, it's just a bunch of people talking on the background.

He got mad when I said I did not believe him. Indian guy with a name like Derrick Smith highly unlikely. He did tell me to [***] off.... LOL

I just got the same call. When he said I could get a government grant of $9,000, I laughed and said I'm not falling for this! Then I hung up and blocked the number. Ugh!!

Stalker calls every few days speaking sexual inappropriate things. Definitely sick individual with a very heavy accent.
