Called today around 5.30 p.m.  I didn't answer.  Shown as NRCC.  If that's the National Republican Committee fundraising, they sure have the wrong number.

Leave it to the politicians to allow themselves to bypass the Do Not Call registry. Nice to have such a collection of weirdos in Washington.  Possibly a robocall. My landline is protected by a call blocker unit. They didn't follow the instructions from my call blocker so it blocked the call automatically.

I'm guessing you never knew what the registry was set up for because you never bothered to read anything about it or bothered to read the two enabling laws that set it up and made it possible?

Called at 9pm, went to voice mail, and left no message.

8/2/19 Friday - @ 6:51 p.m.  Call from the NRCC came in on Land Line.  They did not leave a message. We do not answer telephone.

These clowns have numerous #s. 3 of them are BLOCKED for now! This 1 was on Sat. 8/3/19 @ 11:16 AM CT.

Call just now, marked as Spam, so didn't pick up

two calls, refused to ID self, refused to leave a message = abusive, illegitimate call. Turns out to be the NRCC. If they call and bother me, they should have the decency to leave a message.  I do not wish to be contacted by either political party.

Appears to be "National Republican Congressional Committee". They seem to be really worried. Telemarketing calls are not going to help the situation.

Marked as "SPAM?" by Verizon (but not blocked!).

Disconnected after one ring by the service whose name shall not be used here.

Called my landline this morning. No message left. Blocked the number.

The evil ppl called today, did NOT answer. VID showed NRCC, yep they want a donation no doubt,they started before the last election & they are at it again. DNC registry does NOT cover them NOT calling. It may be them & then again it may have been ported to that # to get a donation & scam. Will NEVER answer any call from another state & or unknown #. If the same # calls twice they WILL be blocked. All calls that you do not know are all about$$$$$ & getting your info. BEWARE

The DNC registry is for sales calls. Charities, fundraisers and surveys are exempt.

They called at 10:15am on a Sunday morning.  Man asked for my husband by name and then hung up on us.

I got a call from 202-981-7852 on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 10:35 am.  The caller did not leave a message even though my answering machine was on.  My caller ID said, "NRCC."

Can't we get a break from robo calls, even on on Sunday?   Since I recognized the NRCC ID I'm sure they have called me before.  The caller hung up after only three rings, which often isn't enough time to get to the phone.

Why are charities, surveys and fund raisers exempt from the DNC list???  These callers are just as irritating as spam calls.  A lot of surveys are just scams to get personal information as a lot of charities and fundraisers that make phone calls are suspect as well.  I am not saying that all charities, fund raisers  and even surveys are phony, just that the are all irritating when they call at any and all hours

I don't want to take up the space needed to give you an explanation when you could probably find the answer easily with a little effort on your part and good search terms.  I would not be surprised to hear that most of these "charities and fundraisers" were spawned from the DNC.  After all those telemarketers had a large investment in equipment and once they couldn't call everyone that investment became an albatross around their neck.  Not sure what you mean by surveys being phony.  If they end in a sales call, that is a violation of the two enabling laws that allow the registry to exist.

Surveys are not regulated as to the hours they can call.  Telemarketers, charities, fundraisers, informative calls, and debt collectors are limited to 8 am to 9 pm your time.

I've gotten three calls from different numbers over the last couple of weeks - today being the last. I called the NRCC in Wash. DC last week and spoke to a woman who told me that they are aware of these calls but they are all "spoofed" numbers with caller ID: NRCC.

I got a call from the same number Sunday at 10:54 am.  It did not say NRCC it came up as Fraud Risk Washington DC.

NRCC = National Republican Congressional Committee.  Asks for household member by name and records your response to a survey question: "Do you think Trump is doing a better job than Obama?"
NRCC is also using 202 892-7563 and 202 381-9430 - and leaves no message.
