Called at night from Advance.... Survey

Called me and said online survey

They called me, ask for (my name). I asked who was calling? They said because of the confidentiality of the call they have to make sure this is me. I asked who was calling again. Very politely she said she appreciates me asking, but she has to make sure it's me. Really, asking a person on a phone their name makes them certain it's them?! Advanis Advanus whatever was the recording I got when I called them back. Some survey crap that has my cell number.

I received 3 calls from them....one on one day and then 2 more about half an hour apart this evening.  I called back and a lady answered the phone and said it was Advanus and they were calling to get feedback from consumers.  I told her I wasn't interested and then proceeded to ask her to take my number off their list but she had already hung up by then.

Call received on home phone. I returned the call, found out the caller "Probe Research" and POLITELY asked to have my number removed from their calling list.  "No problem Ma'am".

I do not pick up the phone when the caller's name is not displayed. Searching I google for the caller's name.
In this case, I seem to know the calling company Probe. It (or one branch of it) which is a respectable outfit run by a staff member of the University of Manitoba.

didnt give them a chance to say anything other than it wasn't a sales call.  I told them I was on the do not call list and I was reporting them to the ramp website.

Caller ID said "PROBE". It was nearly 9pm. I didn't answer.

Repeated calls to both my husband's and my cell phones.  No message left.

stated they were from Health Canada and to see if i qualified for the survey they needed to confirm my age.  I disconnected
