Birchwood Automotive Group calling to say my car is due for maintenance. I took my car to one of their dealerships during the summer to cash in a free oil change. Apparently they add you to a call list automatically. Looks like I was signed up for a few different types of calls (maintenance, reminders, deals/offers). I told them to remove me from all of their lists.

We received a voicemail from this number on december 22, 2008. When I did some investigating I discovered it was from Birchwood Nissan in Winnipeg doing a call to encourage us to book for a scheduled maintenance of some kind. While we did purchase a vehicle from them this summer I don't appreciate their company calling me and not leaving a full message with a "name" or "company" that I can call back. From a customer experience perspective Birchwood isn't doing themselves any favors!  This is a complete turn off and I consider it a nuisance phone call.

they leave a full vmail each time about whats up.. but it does get annoying after a few weekly calls for same reminders

I got a message on my answering machine today from Birchwood Honda when I got home.My oil life is still at 40%. I guess I am not too pissed,as my last oil change was last December,and most of my miles are city miles.  

Called, no voicemail.  I don't know anyone from Canada.  I did call back to see who this is. "Verizon Wireless call could not be completed".  Adding to block list, because the DNC list is horesesh*t.

I received a call; I couldn't answer so they left a voicemail message. It was Makayla from Birchwood Honda West saying that I had a car maintenance appointment the next day; therefore, it was a reminder call.
I never made an appointment! Annoying. I called and said I never booked an appointment so the guy so "oh ok, do you want to cancel the appointment then?" ummm yes, I never booked one. I said next time that I will not return their calls.
I did buy my car new there but I get it serviced elsewhere because they were always recommend services that didn't need to be done!

Birchwood Honda of Winnipeg reminding it is time to change to summer tires (that we have stored with them) -- an appropriate call.
