A robocall from UN-known - direct tv scam - A search shows this number to be from Bessemer, AL. A land line using LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC - AL. They keep calling using a different new number after being told to remove my number from their call list and blocked.

I answered and it was a man, not a robot. He called from Alabama but I live in Washington. He's raising money for police officers who fall in the line of duty. My suspicion is they want to record you saying YES. He asked me , if we send you an envelope will you donate? I said "i will need to read up on this first" he hung up on me. That tells me , its SPAM BEWARE

Why would they want to record you saying "Yes"? Anything nefarious they could do with the recording of one single word could be done with the recording of anyone saying it. It's not as if you can be verbally identified by one word.

Unrecognized number. Fraud and thieves.
