That number is a scam - wants money for a police fund, I asked him for his badge number and he hung up.

It is a scam caller asking for money.  Caller ID shows AUnitedOfficer.

This is the fourth fake police/fire charity that I received in a week.
I took the call, and heard that is a telemarketing call asking for donations to the United Police Officers Association. They are not a charity, and they have a rather low BBB rating of 'D' -

They used a common pitch: "When we send you our donation envelope, can we depend on you to send it back to us?"
I told the caller that it was strange that a 'police' organization would be calling people on the 'Do Not Call' list, and that was the finish of this call.

Caller ID said Aunitedofficers, didn't answer. Scam.

Disguised caller ID as BlueHealth to make it appear that Blue Cross was calling.  Claimed to be collecting for a Police Officer Charity.
