got call and ignored it.  came up unknown name, but did research and it is a collection company.

Asked to speak to manager to have my name taken off this list after repeated calls and telling them that I am not interested in what they are calling for.. I have been hung up on twice after recieving a call.

we have been called several times by this obviously phoney business, always stating that if we want further warranty on our vehcile, to please hold for a representatvive or if we want to be removed from their list to please press 2. and as we have done on several occasions we have pressed #2 on our phone. but to no avail. we are continously getting these annoying calls at all times, early morning, weekends and late evenings. at one point i even held on to speak to an operator which when she came on the line i asked her why we have been repeatedly done what was requested to remove our number and in return i got a hang up and dial tone.
i tried to call the number back and was told that that number was not in service. this needs to be attended to , i believe immediatley.  How can they keep calling me from a phone number but i can't return their call. what's up with that?

they're harassing me!!

I too have received numerous calls from this outfit. At first, I just hung up during recording. Then I followed instructions for pressing 2 to be removed from list on two occasions, but calls kept coming, the next one a matter of hours later. Pressed 1 to get an operator with some choice words poised on my lips. Call terminated itself. Have tried twice more to talk to someone but they only hang up on me. Next time, I'm going to give them a phony year, make and model of car when they ask for it and then try to find out a company name.

Extended car warranty?
I never answer.
I do get repeated mailings about extended car warranty's as well...

These telemarketers call everyday , sometimes 2-3 times a day.  It needs to stop!!  I don't have a car warrenty!!

Many annoying calls.  I've been on the "Do Not Call" list for weeks now and these folks just aren't getting the message.  Am starting a routine of dirty tricks to preserve our family dinner time.

Car warranty call. I have been getting these calls for months. They will not remove me from the list so i press 1 and waste the operators time. Like they say, time is money. Just keep answering their questions but don't tell them any personal information.

They have called many times and I press 2 but they keep calling back.  There should be some way to get them to stop?  Very annoying.

Same deal as others who have been getting these calls, I told the person I don't even own a car and that I've been pressing 2 to be removed from the list every time they call.  The ignorant bish hung up on me.  If anyone decides to press one and gets their rep Sheena please tell her to kindly go fook herself for me.

Same as everybody else.  It is so annoying!  I'm going to file a report with the Attorney General's office in Wisconsin.

I have been received voice mails from this number almost every day. It is a pre-recorded message abotu some car warranty crap. I have reported them to the FTC. I suggest you all do the same so we can stop this harassment.

What can I do about annoying or harassing phone calls?

AT&T/SBC/Ameritech Annoyance Call Bureau

AT&T/SBC/Ameritech will position itself to deliver advance services and capabilities in order to determine an unwanted caller.  If you are the recipient of numerous harassing, obscene, or threatening telephone calls you need to follow these guidelines in order to help accurately trace unwanted callers:

1. You have received at least two or more unwanted phone calls.

2. If there is a known offender/caller, make sure that is indicated on a/the police report.

3. If the calls that you receive are continuing and you expect more to be received, then you will want to report the calls to your local Police Department non-emergency phone number, if available, and make a report.

4. If you would like your telephone line traced, contact the AT&T/SBC/Ameritech Annoyance Call Bureau at 1-800-769-4099 (Monday-Friday 8 A.M.-5 P.M. Central Standard Time) with the police report case number if you have one, or better yet, call AT&T/SBC/Ameritech  at 1-800-244-4444 and ask to have this number blocked and/or removed from calling your account.

AT&T/SBC/Ameritech will inform you of the length of time the trace will be in effect and any charges.

The complaint/case number authorizes AT&T/SBC/Ameritech to conduct a tracing investigation and release any information to your local Police Department. Disposition of the investigation will be reviewed with the complainant if the trace is successful.

In order for the telephone company to “trace” illegal telephone calls that you may be receiving, you MUST contact the Annoyance Call Bureau at their 1-800 telephone number listed above. It is important for you to understand that the telephone company cannot trace any phone calls that you receive without the Annoyance Call Bureau first setting up a telephone trap. Once they have set the trap up, all future calls that you receive will be captured by the Annoyance Call Bureau special equipment that will provide the telephone number of the calling party. The Annoyance Call Bureau will give you instructions on how to report future calls to them.

When you originally contact AT&TSBC/Ameritech Annoyance Call Bureau, they will be asking you a series of questions, including the case number of your local Police Department's report that you filed, along with the contact person’s name and phone number at the department.

Or punch the star symbol (*) then 69. This will ring the last number that called you.

As a follow-up, I contacted AT&T/SBC/Ameritech this evening (6-June/3/2008-Tuesday), and I was informed to follow the procedures above. AT&T/SBC/Ameritech is my local home phone service carrier. I use to have a cell phone, but went back to a basic telephone, due to I was paying 3 times as much with the cell as I am now with a regular one. I did add the Privacy Manager Feature to my account, but it only applies/works if the incoming call does not present themselves on your caller i.d. The feature to block up to 10 telephone numbers is not available in my area. Just before I got rid of my Verizon Cell Phone, I was also getting calls from this same company/number. I also receive postal mail from the same damn people. Any other help or assistance with this log, be sure to post here, PLEASE??!!

Got a call from this number,  pressed one, usually the call is disconnected,
but today a woman answered.  I asked "what company do you work for?"
She hung up on me,  lol.  
Next time I am going to string them along as long as I can and then turn
my head alittle and say  "did you get a good trace on it yet"  just to
mess with them.

they have called me constantly within the past 2 days and its quite annoying.

Received another call today. Just signed up for the Do Not Call Registry.

I got a call this afternoon CDT. I received these vehicle warranty calls before. They're getting irritating, to say the least. I finally spoke with someone. The man told me to give him the year, make, and model of my vehicle. The only thing I told him was that I was on the Federal DNC list(which I am) and he hung up.
