They just called, let it ring twice and hung up.  Had one yesterday with the following number and they did the same thing.  1-813-320-6177.   I have been getting these kinds of calls for over a year.  Some are portfolio recovery and some have no identity at all.

    Some Tips:
    *Keep all messages
*Take a picture of your Caller ID
*Keep any and all conversations recorded to your states recording laws, some require they be told, others do not. This can be transferred to a recording device.
*Keep a notebook handy for writing time, date, who you spoke with and what the conversation detailed.
*Check your SOL for your state as well.
*Attorneys need to be licensed as a DC to collect, all DC's must be licensed in their state as well as yours if different.

Thousands of phone numbers owned by debt collectors are not cheap for them to own and that's what your high interest & settlement charges are going to pay. The longer you wait to pay them, the likelihood that they will continue bothering you reduces, and eventually the charge back which hurts your credit rating disappears. Just ride them out......
