Missed a call from this number. Got concerned because I have friends in that area..No answer when I called back

This a reply to Mr.TC Alexander, why always blame on Obama. he got nothing to do with this instead blame it to the phone company because i got unlisted number and they can still call me, you know why because the phone company sell our numbers to telemarketing just like the groceries now they ask your phone numbers or your email so that they can participate this money making by selling your information. One examples when you received an email and they ask you to pass it around by sending it to 5 or 6 emails to your friends then they will send you a free "GIFT"...that is BS, how will they send you a gift if they don't even know your address  all they want is the email address so they can sell it to the telemarketing....' MY ADVISE ...WISE UP'

this number just called my cell and said nothing when  i picked up they call me every few weeks it's annoying i want them to stop

It happened to me today 9/13 exactly the way you describe it.

calling my personal cell phone repeatedly is annoying....when I answer a "cruise ship horn" sounds....how do you get off this list? guess I'll have to start "blocking" numbers...

I answered with "Federal Bureau of Investigation". They hung up on me!

I get several of this type call everyday on my landline. They started after I switched to service with AT&T. I never got these calls on my cell phone (another carrier) until today. I gave my cell number to AT&T on yesterday as a second contact number for a repair appointment. Coincidence???? Are phone providers selling our numbers to these people?
