Someone posted this number on craigslist - advertising a puppy to adopt.

The thing is the individual said "please adopt this puppy for free or I will have to put it to sleep".  The post had a photo of an adorable little white poodle type puppy that appeared to be about 6-8 weeks of age.

Someone else posted that they called the number and the message said, "I have ALREADY put the puppy to sleep."  Yet the potential adopter called just 20 minutes after the guy had posted for the puppy, at around 5:00 pm.

3+ hours later, he had re-posted with the same photo and the same message.  I called the number and there was no mention of him putting the dog to sleep.

Oddly, the same poster put the same exact ad on the craigslist pets sections in both New York AND Dallas TEXAS, in addition to here in SAN FRANCISCO.  He's playing a weird game for some pathetic, sick reason.
