I just got a spam email from a girl listing that as her #.  It say's I need to join a site to verify my identity, then I should call her.  Sounds fishy to me.

I got the same message. It must be a scam

it's totally got to be a scam...i just got the same email from a craigs list posting

i googled that same number, and clicked one of the search results and immediately my pc was infected with worms and viruses.  anti-virus software picked them up but it was quick.  beware.

I called the number but didnt click on the link. its some chick by the name of karen. it rings a few time and goes to a voicemail, i googled the number and it brought me here.

Same, its a cl scam.

I got a call back from that number, it sounded like a guy.  It wanted to talk dirty to me.  I said F#$% off!

Then it sent me she-male pictures.....

Craigslist is mighty shady for sure.

There are a number of posts that basically have the same description (5'9" 120-130 lbs, "or so I've been told").  Replying to any of them gets you the same result - Safe Girls website for $37.99/month + this phone number.  I'm not going there and have deleted the email responses.

Here's the story.  You go to craigslist and send an email to somebody who claims they want to meet somebody like you.  The truth is the "women" who advertise on Craigslist are members of an "affiliate" program with the website they send you to.  They get paid a $1 or two just because you went to the site and if you actually sign up for "age verification" they get paid much more for bringing traffic to the site.  The's people (are they really women?), are using you to make money.

End of Story.

Whoever he/she is, they are persistent!

I emailed (lets just say HER) her because she described herself attractively. Okay cool. So I get a reply email and it's like:

So yeah, this is probably the most believable scam on cl...
I get an email response from a girl on cl with pics and a totally legit email address... She wants to hook up but needs to make sure "im safe and not a registered sex offender".... Seriously even if I was a registered sex offender that should be the least of her concernes, since she is merely trying to "hook up" w me anyway....

Same old story not going to give my cc info to any site that has an auto withdraw after the "trial period" is over...

No more drinking and surfing the net for me...

The very best way to meet girls is to just be confident in yourself and talk to them in REAL LIFE!!! You'll probably save yourself a whole lotta mula and time!
