Got a message stating an arrest warrant from IRS. Seems prank and would like to share widely.

THIS IDIOT LEFT MESSG ON MY ANSWERTING MACHINE .  RE WARRENT AND ARREST.  CAN'T THE POLICE DO SOMETHING ABOUT STOPPIMG THIS GUY.  VERY ANNOYING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got the called claimed they are IRS and wen i asked how can i help the IRS he hanged up then i called the same # and there wasa stupid VM they are scamers.

A heavy accented (I'm guessing African) guy called. He said there was warrants against my wife for not paying taxes and for sending illegal money abroad! I asked him to send info on the mail but he replied saying some officer will come to my door. I then called back the # and it went straight to VM. The guy called back and when I told him he was calling from Nigeria he got enraged and started to shout profanities, hahaha...

they claim they work for the IRS and big scam........
Be aware these people are getting more and more sophisticated..

they have an accent (Indian most propably)

This [***] is an Indian, I called them and cursed them for few minutes in their local language. Have an Indian friend call them and scare the [***] out of these losers.

Report to FBI, Treasury and Local Police. Act right away and dont just write comments online.

I know they are fraud, why they give the phone no. and what they want?

We are receiving these non sense phone calls from a person calling himself John Smith for tax allegations...

Got at call from 206 414-4646 -- the man "John Smith"  had a foreign accent and was looking for my husband to discuss a "warrant"  yet wouldn't identify what government agency.  Definitely a scammer.

Got a message from this foreign guy saying I had a warrant for my arrest and If I don't respond may god be with me...  What a jack hole..  I've never done a thing wrong in my life!!  

Strong India accent, it is scam!!!!!

CLAIMED IRS DEPARTMENT THAT I OWED THEM $5,000 OF WRONG FILING.  PAYMENT SHOULD BE IMMEDIATELY, OTHERWISE THERE WILL BE A WARRANT AGAIN ME AND WILL PUT ME TO JAIL.  SCAM!!!  THE GUY SPOKE FOREIGN ACCENT (SOMEWHERE IN MIDDLE EAST).  

I received a phone call from these people and they were trying to accuse me of tax fraud and wrong identity. This is a scam.
Do not return their call. He has heavy Indian accent and unclear statements.

How do one find these [***] and arrest them.. I received several phone calls form this number (206-414-4646) impersonating the IRS, my caller id shows the name ANGEL ELENA.   I recognized that these individual speaks Spanish.

Same call today, two yesterday and 1 voicemail.  Could be from the Philippines.  It sounds like its a big call center in the background.  I can see how this would scare some people, especially immigrants who may not understand the processes.

Got a call from "John Smith" claiming there is a warrant out on my name and SSN, that if I don't call him back then "good luck to you". He sounds like the posts I read here.

This person claimed that there was arrest warrant against me and my property and that it is being monitored right now?
I don't have any property as I am renting in an apartment complex. SCAM!
These guys need to be prosecuted!

Just got a voicemail today, says his name is John Smith with the criminal investigations unit of the IRS and that they have issued a warrant out for me and my properties and I need to call him back at this number.  What a crock!  Guy has no foreign accent though, completely American sounding.  

I just received the same voice mail.
