A scammer contacted me regarding items I was offering on Craigslist and provided the phone number:

Thanks for your swift response,I will want you to consider the Furniture is sold by me.Get back to me with the last price and probably with the recent pics,and i will be paying via Certified check. I will also need you to provide me with the following information to facilitate the mailing out the payment to you and i will want you to get back to me immediately you receive the payment so that i can contact my shipper for the pick-up at your location.

NOTE: If i dont interested on this Furniture i can't contact you.

I want you to get back to me with the necessaries details so that i can send you the payment ASAP.

**I will like you to know that you will not be responsible for shipping i will have my mover come over as soon as you have the check payment for the Furniture.

I received the EXACT same message for a boat lift in KC.

I received the same message and number for an item I had for sale on craigslist.  I e-mail him back without information and told him I  would accept cash only.  I am in Missouri.  I am contacting craigslist.

I just got the same message from engr.tony231@gmail.com (Engr.Tony Wayne) for an Item listed on Craigslist in MD.
