http://opencubicle.net/content/2009/05/12/tel-509-362-9994/ - RoseRec'd call today from this number on my cell phone. Husband rec'd call two days ago. Apparently, whoever is making the calls is trying to see how many comments they can rack up here. Yes, it's very annoying and one would think that as many people as has complained about it, something would be done by now. Such is life in the technological world. I've saved the number as "Ignore SCAM" in my address book so, my phone may ring... but it won't be answered going forward.

- Pika Boo replies to Pat DReceived a call from 206.462.1793 with a prerecorded non-English message.
I called the number back from a land line phone and received a prerecorded English message stating the it was a "Travel related call". I stayed on the line and selected option 1 to be removed from their database. I entered in my cell number which should be removed within 48 hours...we'll see. - smhjust received a call on my at&t cell phone, didn't answer (I don't usually answer numbers I don't recognize and ESPECIALLY ones with area codes I don't know).
- Annoyed2nd day in a row receiving this computer generated recording in Spanish with a caller ID only stating 'Seattle, WA'. Not understanding Spanish, I held until the recording was over. I was then disconnected.
- ElissaSrange call...
- Ms. JI returned home the previous evening to find a fragment of an automated message in Spanish on my answering machine. Yesterday at approximately 6 p.m. the following somewhat incomprehensible phrase was left on my machine:
"...aprieta el uno (el numero?) ahora..."
("press the "1" (the number) now...")
I listened to the message several times and this appeared to be the gist of it; I am not a native speaker by any means and this was the best I could glean from repeated playings of the message. Having read the previous reports, this would be consistent with the instructions to press the number "1" to be removed from their call list. I am hoping they will not call again, but if so, at least there are instructions for removing my number from their call list. - The Open Cubicle replies to bojanCalling back confirms your number so you get calls from other US cities.
- tiredSame as everyone else. Why can't the people who do this be identified and stopped? Preferably with a few nights in jail.
